They're hilariously corrupt, nepotism guides everything, and they share many authoritarian policies with China (e.g. straight up shutting down the internet in regions which have too much political dissent, banning apps and websites from geopolitical rivals). Imagine the most cartoonishly broken democracy, and you've got India. i have a xiaomi mi a1 for three years ..it works the same as when i bought it but so does basically any other cheap shit phone i owned i usually break them ...i swear people do some crazy shit to their phones because i otherwise dont understand how they manage to lag up their stuff so hard

Apple phones tend to do that. Their software updates slows your shit down when they have newer versions of the iPhone to push you into upgrading.

Have you been into any Indian threads? The comments that aren't from nationalists blast their government for corruption. Bridges that take 20 years to build and 90% of the costs being funneled into the pockets of the people running the thing. There's way too much corruption for things to "just improve by pumping money into it".

You can even go onto YouTube and see what usually happens to scam call centres. They give the cops some money, and they go away. And then more 1st world boomers get scammed out of their life's savings again.

i owned an iphone it didnt slow any(the battery was absolute shit tho) ...although im not a brainlet that must upgrade to the newest thing just because its shiny so i always held off system updates on every software based thing i own
