Depends on who you ask. I'd say people who see themselves as culturally German are generally accepted even by right wingers. I feel like certain parts of our intelligentsia are promoting identity politics and postcolonial theories and sooner or later it will become part of our public discourse just like in the US. But not yet. We obviously see the differences between Europeans and Africans, Asians and so on but throw terms like "people of colour" at European boomers and they will just go blank.
