I'm 100% American and Brazil is not Latin America.

I am American.
Thank you for your service.
Cala a boca,seu macaco
I don't speak Portuguese. I guess you're telling me to shut up, right?
I bet you're tired of people confusing you for the common Spic
Thanks friend. You understand us. We're Luso-Americans.
Same shit
Thank you for your service sargent John O'Higgings
Based. It's about time the world starts showing some respect for my Brazilian bros.
It's really not.
Not really. What about Brazillian culture is like Hispanic culture?
Truly our greatest ally
Nope, we're latinos. Deal with it.
Nobody is Latin anything unless they're from Lazio. Why can't you just accept reality that you're different from Hispanic America?
Brazilians look nothing like Latinos
Put a Brazillian in peru or mexico and they’d stand out
Don't care, argies and colombians are my brothers.
You don’t want to be a reggaeton blasting hellhole
put a colombian or venezuelan in peru or mexico and they will stand out
Just don't live on a favela, dummy.
Brazil will be our 51st state
And I'm 100% Atlantean.
Stupid diaspora falseflagging is cringe.
No we won't, you will be annexed by my mexican brothers.
We're Ibero-Americans
We received more Africans than Portuguese. Minas Gerais was 75% black in the 1760s
"Latinoamerica" is a retarded term for wh*toids and joggers to use anyway
No one identifies as a latino IRL over here. It's just an internet thing.
Is this diaspora Joao or proxy Joao?
No way MG, the best state in the southeast, was 75% black.
Extreme cringe
>No one identifies as a latino IRL over here
I don't believe anyone outside the USA does
With "over here" i meant south america, i guess mejicanitos use it too irl, since they are basically just browner americans.
50% black 25% mulato
Curitiba also was mostly black and pardo before the great immigration era.
No my name is Bryan. Unless that’s a common Brazillian name...I’m not Brazillian
>50,000 Russians in Brazil in the 1850s
What the fuck are these statistics
Nah Mexico's getting NAFTA'd to death they're no threat. If you mean some kind of Zig Forums style demographic replacement that's not happening either, American identity subsumes all others. You WILL be absorbed.
Ironically thats a very common poor and low class hispano name
Minas has way less pardos or black than rio or bahia
Every mineiro i met was white only 1 was black
Portuguese ancestry is isn't that big here.
Yeah but I'm talking about the 18th century, during the gold rush. Minas was a slave-mining society.
I don't think there is much difference between the average Venezuelan and Colombian and the average Brazilian
>can't even look a jogger in the eye
>can't even talk to strangers without stuttering
>can't even see his own feet when looking down
>"y-you will b-be absorbed"
The immense majority of people in Brazil is a mutt of partial Portuguese ancestry. Just like most people in Latin America (except for Brazil), is a mutt of partial Spanish ancestry
Ever since Fast and Furious that has been a relatively common name, specially among favelados.
You will be absorbed if you put your hand in his stomach
i only hear the term "america latina" when referring spanish speaking countries
Bryan is the stereotypical name used in Spanish speaking Latin American favelado-villero-low class memes. Kevin has gained a bit of ground as well
See: el brayan, el kevin, la kimberly
Fuck, he'll steal my portuguese and native genes. Good thing my house has human sized doors so he can't get in.
Young Chicanos can't even speak Spanish lmao. In 20 years they'll be as close to Mexico as Italian-Americans are to Italy.
>Curitiba also was mostly black and pardo before the great immigration era.
No, Curitiba was mostly caiçaras = mestizos.
Yeah, as i said only joggers use it IRL, so it fits that you guys do.
No. We received a massive wave of German, Italian, Lebanese, Polish, Spanish, Japanese, Ukrainian, Syrian and Jewish immigrants.
that's because Brazilians only have a small community in the USA in comparison to Spanish speaking Latinos. People of Latin American descent are already 1/4 of the US population
all negligible compared to Portuguese colonial and post colonial immigration combines
Brazil's Immigration History (1820 - 2019)
This video shows about foreign born immigrants in brazil from 1820 to 2019. So this is 200 years of immigration in Brazil. This data is taken from official websites of brazil government.
we probably have more Portuguese Americans than we do Brazilians. They're a big minority in parts of Massachusetts and Rhode Island
It depends a lot where you're talking about; immigration was expressive in the South and São Paulo, but not up north.
Also up north there was quite a bit of recent (XIX-XX) Portuguese immigration, and is forgetting to mention plenty Spaniards settled in São Paulo, way more than Ukrainians.
too bad they weren't significant enough to change the language in the slightest. One can only wonder why
>This data is taken from official websites of brazil government.
Garbage, give me real sources.
This "data" is taken straight out of the ass of the video creator
There were no immigrants in Brazil before 1870 except for Germans, some Portuguese and a few Swiss families
In Brazil Enzo Gabriel is a common name among favelados because they want to be shitalian.
>too bad they weren't significant enough to change the language in the slightest.
That's outright incorrect; Italian interference is one of the reasons Southerners still stick to the five vowels system in post-stressed vowels, plenty dialects in the countryside merge /R/ and /r/ due to either German or Polish influence, and up Northeast/North you got S-palatalization being introduced due to recent Portuguese immigration.
The reason those languages didn't survive outside colonial clusters is due to linguistic policies.
Africa: 4,000,000
Portugal: 2,250,000
Italy: 1,500,000
Spain: 567,000
Germany: 245,000
Japan: 200,000
Bolivia: 200,000
France: 100,000
Haiti: 80,000
Poland: ~65,000
Ukraine: 61,000
Lebanon and Syria: 61,000
You don't know what you're talking about
A large part of the south-southeast spoke German and Italian until the 1950s. This changed because Vargas forced the immigrants to speak Portuguese.
Enzo Gabriel is for sons of single mothers, for daughters it's Valentina. The real favelado names are Cleyton and Joriscleuson.
Minas also got plenty of migrants and Northeast got Mixed with Dutch settlers
There are plenty of slavic looking people in this country i don't know what are you on about
