China is world's oldest continuous culture

China is world's oldest continuous culture.
We may learn much from thousands years history of China.
Even today, China continues to be world leader in all areas.
Thank you China for contribution to humanity, sincerely, an Anglo-Celtic Australian.

>continuous culture
What does "continuous" even mean in this context? Because if we're following this line of thought, well, Egypt is still inhabited by Afro-Asiatic speakers since 3000 BCE, the Ukraine by Indo-Europeans, etc.

Reminder: USA has more influence in finance, culture, entertainment, beauty than choina. Many of the worlds most famous scientists, doctors, philosophers, writers, artists stem from the USA. So did inventions, ideas, medical and scientific findings.

Written language was a thing in ancient china so a lot of literature, philosophy, and history were well documented as such the much of the culture of old can still be found in modern day China. It's hard to say the same for Ukraine, but less so for Egypt.
>inb4 muh great leap forward

I truly appreciate ancient china and their accomplishments, but modern china is a dystopian shithole, almost as bad as brazil

>beauty
>philosophers, writers, artists stem from the USA
chuckled ngl

USA influence continues to wane, while China grows ever stronger. The Dragon will not be contained.

LMAO MEDS BTFO

> lot of literature, philosophy, and history were well documented

all of them inferior to their western, middle eastern hell even ancient egyptian/sumerian/hittite counterparts

> as such the much of the culture of old can still be found in modern day China.

lmaao there are way more remnants left from ancient egyptians compared to ancient china

It is true, I am an artist.

Chinese philosophers are infinitely superior. Western philosophy is all about wanting to have sex with people who look like your parents.

While writing was being invented in China (~1200 BCE), Sanskrit speakers in India were already writing the Rigveda. Their descendants still live there.
The Greek alphabet dates from at least 16 centuries BCE, and it's still used in the Balkans up to this date. With the "collective mind" of Europe still rehashing the Iliad and Odyssey over and over and over.
Another big "spring" of culture in the Mediterranean was the Egyptians. Guess what - the Arabic abjad used there is a descendant of the Phoenician abjad, that in turn comes from... the Egyptian hieroglyphs.

What I mean to say is, it's impossible to measure which is the "oldest continuous culture".

Have youve seen the beauty trends soaring over in corona land? Western noses, lighter eyes, lighter skin.
Maybe the philosopher part is a bit much but you get the jist.

But the dynastic governance continued in china all the way until the 1900s while ancient greece underwent much more drastic cultural changes. India is certainly there when discussing about old surviving cultures. I don't disagree with you that there are ancient civilizations that left legacies for future nations to utilize but some of your examples don't hold as much a continuum in culture like the chinese or indians.

>But the dynastic governance continued in china all the way until the 1900s while ancient greece underwent much more drastic cultural changes. I

not everyone is an autistic bugmen

I love these countries.

Based
Go back to Wuhan, han

go back to england

>continuous culture
Mate, hundreds of years of culture has been lost because the dynasties keep destroying the previous ones.

Americans learn about ancient Greek mythology and philosophers more than chinese ones. Dunno what other countries learn. chinese literally and stuff is dead to the western world.

>Americans learn about ancient Greek mythology and philosophers more than chinese ones
Descendants from Europe study more European history than asian ones. Wow, such insight. You really got me there.

China doomed humanity thousands of years ago

You do know USA is more than just Europeans, right?

because chinese stuff is crap

taoism is very inferior to epicureanism/hedonism
buddhism(not even chinese) is just a shitty religious copy of stoicism.
confucianism is absolute crap, not an ideology worth mentioning. again much worse than stoicism.

almost all chink philosophies also include witch doctors, idol worship, dumbass prayers and other bugmen stuff
manethos Aegyptiaca (History of Egypt) alone has more documents compared to every remnant of ancient china

I don't know if you are being deliberately obtuse or just stupid. But which continent do you think had a greater influence on America's founding, Europe or Asia?

Dynastic governance is not culture. And it has changed there too, alongside the dynasties: PRC, RoC, Manchu Qing, Ming, Mongol Yuan etc.

>ancient civilizations that left legacies for future nations
It doesn't even make sense to talk about "nations" before Nationalism (~1700).

Regarding the Greeks: and yet it is a continuum. Their language is still a descendant of Ancient Greek, the Orthodox vs. Roman Catholic Schism backtracks all the way into the Roman vs. Greek spheres of influence and religious differences, even the "spirit" of your average Greek is still described as the Romans would do (a bunch of lazy drunkards more worried about carnal pleasures than about serious shit).

And we might as well go a step further and claim the continuum backtracks all the way into Africa and the origins of man - wouldn't Africa show the longest cultural continuity ever, simply because human culture is there for longer than in other places?

4000 year old culture that just keeps evolving with time still going on here madarchods, stagnation of culture is shit.

India is older cuck

Based.
Hope China put an end to american materialism and hegemony. American dream is fake and gay, americans have no culture apart from marvel and shoping.

>the way a civilization govern themselves is completely divorced from culture
I'm not sure if I would agree with you on that.
>Regarding the Greeks: and yet it is a continuum.
I don't deny that the greeks have left their mark in history, but to argue for a continuum from its ancient times to now is a bit of a stretch. Do you believe that the culture of the ancient greeks have been as closely lived as that of the indians or chinese? But I supposed you are right if you want to define "continuum" as loosely as human culture.
