So English?

I'm learning Spanish and French simultaneously, and I work on French for two hours during the morning and Spanish for an hour in the afternoon. It's going well, and I dedicate an extra hour to French because I find it a bit more difficult because of its pronunciation. I think two languages is doable but anything exceeding that is counterproductive.

If this isn't google translate, you speak formal Persian better than me lol. I can speak and type colloquial Persian, but I struggle with reading books and other formal things. Why are you learning it anyway?

T. Iranian diaspora in California

I've had an interest in the history of the country at first, which then got me to also come in contact with the culture, which is also great. And what better way to experience/interact with a culture/people than in its own language. And thanks for the compliment. It's in formal since I try to keep myself to use persian script for formal and fingilish for colloquial. I know that's not exactly a rule for the language itself, but it helps me comparmentwlize it a bit. I did overdo writing/reading at first, with barely any attention to speaking/listening beyond some music, which is why I'm on iTalki, to get my actual conversational skills going. (As it is I still heavily rely on "chi gofti?", "mishe dobare begi?"

I've also kinda neglected vocab lately, so I need to restudy a lot of that and jist generally expand on it too.

Is French in French Guiana different than in Metropolitan France? After coronavirus restrictions ease I’m planning on moving to French Guiana and start over.

Very cool, I wish you luck with it. Do you use Memrise by chance? It's pretty solid when it comes to vocab.

I'm learning French, too, so I can't really tell the difference when hearing it, but according to a French user I talked to, all the dialects on this map are basically accents at best. Québécois French is the furthest away from standard French, most likely

Just gave it a listen, sounds far closer to international French than Québécois, some local words mixed in but that's the same with any Caribbean dialect. FWIW I already half understand kreyol so take my opinion with a grain of salt

Translate this to your TL and you are gold:

Dear friends, understanding the proposed goals requires us to analyze the development guidelines for the future. On the other hand, the continuous development of different forms of performance plays an essential role in the formulation of the required financial and administrative conditions. The care in identifying critical points in the current structure of the organization requires precision and the definition of strategic knowledge to achieve excellence. However, we must not forget that the execution of the points of the program offers an interesting opportunity to verify the forms of action.
Thinking more in the long term, the new structural model advocated here guarantees the contribution of an important group in determining the general participation system. The incentive for technological advancement, as well as the need for procedural renewal, stimulates the standardization of the expected long-term return. Nevertheless, the perception of the difficulties allows a better global view of the staff training system that corresponds to the needs. The accumulated experiences demonstrate that the consolidation of the structures positively affects the correct forecast of the survey of the variables involved.
We can already see the way in which the consensus on the need for qualification takes on important positions in the establishment of the desired indexes. Daily practice proves that the adoption of decentralizing policies entails a process of reformulation and modernization of the communication process as a whole. In the current world, the challenging globalized scenario points to the improvement of normative rules of conduct. It is important to question how much the mobility of international capital represents an opening for the improvement of vertical relationships between hierarchies.

This made me angry. Damn, I hate corporate speak. No wonder communism is so popular these days.

Communism is unironically good.

It literally reads like the bureaucratic gibberish that people associate with the USSR and its ilk lol.

>corporate speak
Sure there are corporate terms, but the text is pure bullshit, it absolutely means nothing. That's why you won't understand.

Quien es?

Whats better? French or Portuguese?
