Lets talk about the Mexican War of Independence and the consequences of it.

Was it too soon? Was it too late? Let's discuss.

its not about when, but what happened next, basically betray and endless fights between liberals and conservatives

VGH, lo que hubiera sido...

Too much malinchismo.

Los BORDEROS son muy AESTHETICOS. :)

>ruined the indigenous americas by not killing cortes
>ruined half the world for losing against america, giving them enough resources to become a super pooper orwellian piece of shit

Muerte a narcos y chicanos

VGH........ THE OLMEC EMPIRE

Idk anything about it. 19th century is the biggest gap in my knowledge about mexican history
I know everything precolombian and the conquest, a lot about the colonial period, only a tiny bit about 1810-1910

>Was it too soon? Was it too late? Let's discuss.
It just took too fucking long and was more like a destructive civil war than a collective effort to drive out the Spanish. Independence was finally achieved by the same colonial elite that were fighting against the rebels and switched side because they perceived the newly established trienio liberal in Spain as a threat to their status quo.

Does their government recognize the cession of territories? Wikipedia says no because treaty was signed by a captive general

I whole heartedly do not comprehend why some Mexicans (keyword: some) are still mad California, New Mexico and Texas decided to bail, they just realized the guys holding all the cards were the USA and Mexico would keep going down the path of self destruction

Highly recommend you to read "Mexico: Biografia del Poder" from Enrique Krauze

the only mistake was not demanding baja california as well. i wish america had that attached.

but really the march to mexico city was an impressive military accomplishment with heavy casualties. it could have easily failed.

it was originally not recognized but that administration was soon deposed and replaced with one that did.

My friend, why are you so dumb? Boludo.

What bailing? New Mexico and California had some resistance. Texas got taken over by American immigrants.

Cause he was BASADO and understood that the peasantry should be land owning but also God fearing.

I dont think he cared about what people believed as long as they weren't Catholic in his presence

latinxs en suicide guach!!

The problem it had like many other Latin American cunts had. Is that the lower clases thought they were fighting for themselves but it turned out they were fighting for a privileged class that had beef with another privileged class.
So people like Vicente Guerrero that wanted to help the lower class and had a lower class backround got executed.

No, only historic mexico. This makes abomination makes me sick.
