New Worlders never leave their countries
New Worlders never leave their countries
me too
cuz' our cuntries are BIG
I did it four times.
And it has less to do with "being a new/old worlder" and more to do with country sizes and how close you are to a country border.
Nearest country is about 1500km from my city.
That's Stockholm-London. But instead of going to London I'd be visiting Paraguay.
Russians and the Chinese don't that much either. Yes, there are a lot of Chinese tourists, but there are a lot of Chinese people in general, and probably most of them can't afford to travel internationally. Another thing that is interesting note is, there seems to be a slight correlation between country and size and multilingualism. It seems that the largest countries (Russia, Canada, China, America, and Brazil) also have super majorities of monolingual people.
MG?
I unironically live closer to PY than to your lands.
Rio de Janeiro-Paraguay
What is the point of leaving?
>be euro
>drive for 30 minutes
>go through 87 different countries
>haha lol why do new worlders not go to other countries all the time?
I went to mexico. I see people from the usa here. Im in mexico with people from the usa.
Still further than Paraguay for me :^)
Although I think Misiones (Argentina) is closer for me than Paraguay. [Mental note revisit Misiones I lost my liver somewhere around there.]
Well, to be fair, Sven, in Yurop we do usually live pretty near other cunts. I've literally been bicycling to them. The average new worlder can't do that.
Kek this. The same applies to languages, too. A European would need to know 4-5 languages if wants to communicate with everybody else who borders his tiny country, meanwhile here in the US, the only foreign language I'd ever need is Spanish, and that's only for mentioning a hard skill on my resume to impress an employer or for being able to live in a really rundown neighborhood in Los Angeles or Miami. The foreign languages people speak here are just spoken by immigrants, while the foreign languages in European countries vary from next door neighbor to next door neighbor for them.
>A European would need to know 4-5 languages if wants to communicate with everybody else who borders his tiny country
First, we don't have money.
Second, our countries are huge, so if I want to visit a desert, climb a mountain, get deep into a jungle, visit a 17th century city, swim in blue water beaches with white sands, get a taste of metropolitan life, climb rocky mountains or camp in a coniferous forest I don't need to travel to other country.
Bro, i've tried Tinder in Paraguay and Argentina, and you should do it as well. Many matches with hot thots. Shame I'm so far away and can't be arsed to travel so far just to meet someone.
The distance from NZ international airports just to Australia's is the same as Paris to Moscow
Yall need to get out of here with all of these logical reasons and answers
Clearly, it's because were uncultured swine.
>17th century cities are considered old in mexico
We also have 2nd century ones aswell. I was refering to asethics.
for what purpose would we leave
Wow, I never realized how far away NZ was from AU. I always visualized it as being Britain to Ireland situation. Big american moment right there.
>Greece relies on culture from 2000 years ago
>Modern Greeks have nothing in common with the people who created it except geographic location
>Look at our pile of stones from 2000 years ago.
>We so cultured!
I don't live in a micronation sorry
pretty sure they have thousands years old ruins as well
Lotta things to see over here.
I know it may be hard for Euroids to understand but the Americas are not small places like Europe, it's not even really possible to properly explore either continent within one lifetime.
>The same applies to languages, too. A European would need to know 4-5 languages if wants to communicate with everybody else who borders his tiny country, meanwhile here in the US, the only foreign language I'd ever need is Spanish,
The difference is that a European needs to know another language if he moves to another country. An American needs to know Spanish even if he doesn't leave the US.
No one in the US actually needs to know Spanish, it's optional. You DO need to know Spanish if you're going to travel the Americas though, for obvious reasons - most people in Spanish-speaking countries only speak Spanish, because every country around them also speaks Spanish.
>Check flights from New Zealand to here
>$2000
I wonder why
I've only gone to Belgium, Germany, Poland, France, Greece, Italy and Spain. I never leave Europe
>No one in the US actually needs to know Spanish, it's optional.
wait 20 years
