It triggers me whenever someone says Brazil is Latin America. their culture is nothing like any of their neighbors nor does it look like any Spanish country
They are not Latin America

Argentina has more in common with Puerto Rico than it does with Brazil
>Blacks everywhere in the main cities
>Filled to the brim with mixed race people
>Terrible murder rate
You are right, they are American.
>Argentina has more in common with Puerto Rico
No country in LATAM has any similar to other LATAM countries except Argentina & Uruguay. We're too different from each other
>he fell for the nationalism meme
Imagine if Italy colonized Latin America
?
I was just pointing out that no country in LATAM is any similar to another LATAM country and that's a fact.
you are literally the same
wot?
We are Latin American
This is just too obvious. Try again.
shut up german norway
What do you have in common with say, Colombia?
Brazil is infinitely closer to Colombia and Venezuela than Chile is
They are Latin American, and there's nothing wrong with it.
Also, there are a lot of differences inbetween Latin American countries.
You're just ignorant, a xenophobe, and probably a racist too. Yikes and cringe!
They might not be Hispano-America, but they are definitely Latin America.
Spanish mestizos are Latin?
They aren't any more Latin than Brazilians.
None of the Americas were part of the Roman Empire.
Brazil and Uruguay have more in common with each other than we do with Uruguay simply for speaking Spanish.
Retard.
>let me, a north american who has never been to your country, tell you what it looks like!
South Brazil, Argentina and Uruguay are very much alike, but you would never know
yeah, go to Brazil and try to speak Spanish....you'd have to revert to English to talk to the average Brazillian
The average Brazilian doesn't know english
oh, so that's what this is about...
the mutts are angry and unable to cope with the fact that Latin Americans have literally more in common with the Roman Empire than Americans will ever have.
Oh, dear.
and the average brazillian knows Spanish?
If you ask an Argie for a "camiseta roxo" they'll get you a red shirt instead of a purple one
They know about 60% of Spanish by default by knowing Portuguese.
Spanish and Portuguese speakers can be partially understood.
Yes they're a sudaca shithole like everybody else in the continent, just because they speak a sightly different language doesn't make them different. There's more differences between Chile and Colombia than between Colombia and Brazil.
Post Brazillian reggaeton
Colombia and Chile listen to reggaetoon, Brazil does not.
no reggaeton but this is beatiful.

Shut up, barrel of lard, we are latin american and you have no right to talk about our country.
It's "camiseta roxa", mutt, and we can understand each other just fine.
We do, and we do fine because Portuguese and Spanish are pretty similar. Same goes with Brazilian tourists visiting Argentina. Brazilian Portuguese has words in common with Rioplatense Spanish. Words like churrasco are used both in South Brazil, Argentina and Uruguay. I can show "mate" to a Brazilian and he will know what it is, but if I show "mate" to a Colombian guy he won't know. Speaking English in Brazil when you know Spanish is useless.
But you'd think of a purple t-shirt right? As opposed to red?
Forgot pic, that's mate, and South Brazilians drink it as much as Argentinians
as a south brazilian i agree
el mate es paraguayo.
Umm, I don't speak Spanish or Portuguese, but if a Brazillian knew someone was Argie or Spanish speaking, wouldn't the context make sense?
It's actually from the GuaranĂ indians
False cognates exist in all languages and we're well aware of that. Even if we did mess it up, so what? You just correct yourself and say you actually meant the other one.

Here's a hispanic americans getting culture shock in a brazillian supermarket
because br zillians are even more niggers than ricans
Ok, I'll bite.
African rythms' influence in music, popular culture and festivals, rice and beans as staple food, ambiguous, very mixed genetic makeup for the general population, social customs, mannerisms. There are many things, it's funny and ironic you pick Colombia because it's probably the country the average Brazilian would feel at home the most you ignorant mutt.
Me gustarĂa ir a Brasil. Brasileros y argentinos somos hermanos.
