can't think of any right now but english in general is a much richer language than hebrew, we don't have words like defenstration, evisceration etc.

I can't imagine the levels of collective autism needed to reconstruct and revive a dead language to be used as native language for a whole country. Wouldn't that end up creating a language poor in vocabulary and expressions? Genuinely impressed that it worked at all.

yeah it was only revived at the end of 19th century, but i don't think the language itself is poor in vocabulary and expressions, on a contrary, we have of shitloads of expressions/idioms from the bible itself, it's just that we don't have many of the words that english has and have to use for example instead of "defenstration", "zrika mehahalon" which literally translates to "throwing out the windo"
we also have words that english doesn't have like "mahar" which in english would be "the day after tomorrow"

I've been trying to get my gf not to apologize for everything all the time so I am going to tell her this.

We don't miss anything, actually most other languages miss something that we have, since most languages just have one verb for "to be" like English, instead of two, like Spanish, which give the language a lot of subtle differences.

I just started taking Persian this quarter and they have astan (to be), hastan (to exist) and nistan (to NOT be - this is its own verb) so far. P nifty.
