Tastes great but it's not safe to eat due to low hygiene.

In the Netherlands Donner is food for highschoolers, construction workers and drunk people after a night out.
Seeing normal adults eating it in Germany is strange as if they're tiktokking

I wish we had Döner in the US, I miss it.

turks dont have a food
they are nomadic horse barbarians who didnt have agriculture let alone cuisine
what you call turkish food was already being made by the greeks and many other peoples before turks invaded

kraut education?

Döner kebab like in the op was invented by Turkish migrants in Germany using various techniques and aspects from middle eastern cuisines.

Nah. Gyro is rebranded doner and they should pay reparations for such an atrocity.

ayy islamophobe

Immigrant?

This kind of kebab has been created in Germany if I remember well. Kebab like this in Turkey are rare and disgusting (no sauce, no vegetables from my experience)
Same here. It's greasy food which tastes good only when you're drunk or high

3 turk empires had similar cuisines. döner comes from dönmek a turkish word. you can eat kulacki in kazakhistan or serbia.

Is this the famous German Sense Of Humour?

I studied abroad in Germany

>if some turkish 2nd class citizen gave me a piece of greek bread that greeks were making for 1000s of years, this is now turkish bread
alright whatever lol, turks probably ate horses alive before they discovered greeks and persians and other people who werent nomads

Ah ok, I was thinking of maybe moving to the US after school.

They stole most from Persia desu. Most of it still bears the same names

German kebabs are tastier than ours tho.

Where are you thinking of moving?

Meat sandwich is as old as time. Nobody invented it.

lmaoing at this silk stomach faggot
protip add feta

I studied your're mom, whilst your're dad watched

It tastes much different compared to what we have here. In Turkey there is an emphasis on the meat, but the ones made by our diaspora also has sauce and I think they also put salad in there.

Dunno, somewhere cheap and peaceful but with good career opportunities. I'm not even sure what I will do after uni, maybe become a lawyer or pilot.

Yeah salad, tomato, onions and sometimes red cabbage, carrots, corn... I love with feta also. But the meat can taste disgusting sometimes, like 80% of fat and 20% of stray dogs.

I prefer to eat "Belgian" it's the same thing but with fries instead of meat, less risky

in 1854 they used black slaves to do home delivery in istanbul

pilled or not??

we should pay reparations

I ate a doner in turkey and it was absolutely better than anything we have here. But also it lacked everything that kebab lovers like here. It wasn't fat, greasy or too big. It also tasted healthier and less exotic and, of course, it was made by turks instead of pakis.

Fucking kek. It's still the same now but with scooters or bikes

For sure, kebab as OP's is pretty much a german thing.
What happens here is that most kebab's owners are actually of Algerian ascendency and don't know how to make a proper kebab sandwich.
It's like all those sushi shops held by Chineses.
Tbh i'd rather have a classic maghrebi fast food sandwich but because of the kebab fad we mainly have tasteless sandwiches.

I’m planning on going to law school in a couple of years

It was invented in ancient Mesopotamia and kebab itself is derived from proto-Semitic. But almost all ancient civilization knew of putting meat on stick and holding it over flame anyway. Turks only made new technique of preparing it by putting all meat on one stick and holding it vertically so more fat and juices stay on meat.
