I've never seen that before and I am quite the geography buff. This is another of those Mandela effects isn't it?
those are called islands
Those are the Belcher Islands. The main town there is Sanikiluaq on Flaherty Island. The other large islands are Kogung, Innettaling, and Tokarak. I'm fairly sure the entire archipelago's population lives in Sanikiluaq.

Sometimes it happens.
No, Canada is just larger than all of Europe. Don't feel bad most Canadians probably don't even know it exists.
To elaborate on why the shape is so weird - the Canadian Shield is granitic so it gives rise to a lot of seemingly out of place entities. In addition, as you can see on the map, the Belcher Islands lie within the Nastapoka Arc which is theorised to be a huge impact crater, if that's true then that might explain its awkward shape further.
What kind of abominable process could create such a landform? It looks entirely unnatural.
this is the map if you zoom in on sanikiluaq
see
and some street views from the town
looks very chilly
Jesus Christ it might as well be Greenland.
It's mainly a native-populated town as you might expect.
It's part of Nunavut so that should be expected.
Do they really need a gas station?
SOVL
Seal sex
the church is shaped like an igloo :)
they have vehicles there so yes
here's the gas station
wonder what fuel prices are like
here is the sanikiluaq based department boardroom
I wouldn't expect much, this is from elsewhere in Nunavut. Just google Nunavut or Northwestern Territories food prices
How rampant is the alcoholism there now that the government ended prohibition?
forgot pic
I have no idea, I already said all I know about the Belcher islands and Sanikiluaq. It's mostly irrelevant
pretty bad if this is anything to go by
The southern mouth of the volga has a odd looking spot in the west of it
NOOOOOOOOO NOT THE POLARINO BEARO
do foreigners know about this?
>ywn wake up in Westport
why live?
Yes but I'm the same autist as
I saw a documentary about prohibition in the area a few years ago. There was a dude smuggling big 2l bottles of vodka and selling them for 500-600 dollars. Locals seem to like binge drinking the hard stuff. No pints to be found there (they probably freeze in the glass kek)

Isn't that the part of nova scotia that speaks French? Doesn't look thaaatt odd to me, looks like a flooded valley or a spit
