>bring back our jobs!!!!
>okay here's your jobs
>picking fruit ewww I just want to type in excel while watching youtube, can't we get more of those?
lmao
Reminds me of that scene in Cheech and Chong when Chong's dad tells him to get a job picking strawberries like the Mexicans instead of sitting around smoking weed.
the irish finally get their revenge
We're fine, that's just EU propaganda.
This. They are just bringing in more muslims to replace the poles instead.
Based
Britain should produce its own food in a socialist economy.
Strange how these farms existed 20 years ago before eastern euros could come here... Oh wait they used to pay double minimum wage but they want cheap labour
No they didn't. Also fuck muh wages. The government does not exist to support your left wing fantasies you little cuck.
Corbyn fired, wat nou?
more like
>bring back our jobs!!!!
>okay here's your jobs
>a 1 month contract for picking fruit, having to sleep in a barn with 50 other guys and one person and a single toilet, a the shower is a hose plugged on an outdoor cold water tap ewww
That's always the big fat "lie by omission" being spat at your face by all those assholes saying "hey that's because the locals don't want to do the dirty jobs and shit, fucking lazy locals". Yeah, guess what, maybe you can deal with that shit when you're a Hungarian that will be able to live for 4 years like a neursurgeon in Hungary after picking fruits and vegetables in the UK for 6 months, but for a local it's simply unsustainable, because a local just can't have a life in his own country under these conditions.
If you don't want a job, don't do it. That's how capitalism works bitch. Stop trying to get daddy government to save you.
yeah, guess what, that's what they're doing
>eating fruit like some kind of poof
cant the brits just fish tho?
i cant really even imagine a brit picking a banana, but somehow a brit parking his boat overloaded with fish comes naturally to my mind
>I want my apples to cost €15 each, the post
Alternatively
>I want big industrialised farm conglomerates to replace human farmers by automating everything, the post
same. working in the fields requires a darker skin tone and more servile temperament.
In most civilized cunts farms are already owned by conglomerates. It's much more efficient.
Can someone seriously explain to me why the Brexit has preemptively been deemed a failure when there are non-EU countries in Europe that are doing just fine?
Our media tells us Brexit was a mistake so I feel like I'm being lied to.
There are also non-EU countries in Europe which are complete shitholes
The problem is that britain wants to retain all of their EU privileges while also not being part of the EU.
It's just that, it's propaganda. Their intention is to delay the process to the point that it will hopefully have serious ramifications, or to make people believe that it really is a failure but "can be stopped just in time".
And there are also EU countries in Europe that are complete shitholes.
Hence my question, why is not being in the EU being treated as a death sentence for the UK?
Yes, that’s why your example was kinda dumb
It has to do with cutting ties and introducing a lot of red tape between you and your closest and biggest trade partner. If you take a look at the countries you mentioned (probably Switzerland, Norway, and so on) you’ll notice all of them are in the EEA or in similar arrangements, meaning they are de-facto EU members without voting rights but with some special freedom in regards to stuff like fishing or agriculture. The UK’s exit would be more extreme, something akin to the relationship the EU has with say Belarus or Russia
Because they've been in it since the 70s. With brexit they will now have to pay taxes whereas before it was free trade all the way.
my apples didn't cost 15€ each before the mass use of eastern 1 month contractees, and anyway, just stop buying 1000€ samsung brand new phones every fucking years
as for your 2nd point, I suggest you to watch how industrial agriculture works in the Netherlands youtube.com
>norway
it's basically in the EU in everything but the name and no veto power. They are rich thanks to Oil money
>Swiss
same as norway, but banks
every other country is either in the EU or a Russia orbiter( and those country aren't really going that well)
that said, I'm not necessarely saying brexit is a thing that will kill the UK (in the long run), but they basically went to the referendum with 0 plans to actually leaving and now this happening they are still way behind schedule in every aspect of it, from tracking to stuff like op posted.
Also they have unrealistic requests to the EU
>I CAN'T WORK ON THE FIELDS DON'T YOU UNDERSTAND???? I NEED A COZY OFFICE JOB
you are lazy
If you are on this website you probably weren’t alive in times when foreigners weren’t used in agriculture. Also I like being able to spend that amount of money on something I want because I can afford it. Also yeah of course agriculture is becoming more mechanised, but increasing the cost of labour will make it impossibile for small and medium enterprises to cope with it, leaving the markets only to giants with a lot of capitals. There is a reason a lot of big American companies lobbied for increasing minimum wages: it pushes competitors who don’t have the capital to automate out of the market
then the fire rises brother
