Not in the conventional sense. Basically he claims that most of the models used for learning and pricing financial objects are wrong because people think they understand math and the world. Definitely read him if you are interested in learning about some of the more conceptual issues with current financial understanding. He will teach you better perspectives to think about systems, financial and otherwise.

I should note, I believe him when he says most of the models are flawed. He points out things like the 2008 crisis that he predicted, and how financial risk analysts have a poor sense of how to predict or price them. Similar line of thought to Benoit Mandelbrot, you should read his book about the fractal nature of markets, he touches on a lot of similar ideas. Very good
