Pretty nice place. Big culture shock for me was how often I had to pay in cash but that's probably not an issue for anyone who's not from Holland. It does look pretty eastern but it's still nice and affordable as well

I heard it's ranked as one of the best cities to live in all of Germany - relatively undestroyed after WW2 so it has all this historical stuff, after 1990 the government pumped a lot of money into there and it still has quite a lot of well paid industry combined with eastern aka low housing prices which makes it a perfect city.
