Why do you speak like a machine translated visual novel?

I want a Japanese wife so badly it pains me I’ll never be treated right in Japan :(

In the United States, most students can go to college if they want. The test just determines what college and what courses they can attend.

I hate calculus so much bros...

>Calculus
Yes. Schools here don't teach calculus, you only see it at uni.

no waay...

Most Americans do not even learn calculus before university.

When gaijin post on Zig Forums they LARP as if they speak/write poor English because they think it'll make you believe that they aren't white foreigners

Seriously? we should do calculus early on imao

Calculus isn't that hard, i think it should be teached in schools, but here they can't even make most of the population actually finish school properly let alone teaching advanced math.

Looks like high school calculus to me; Americans don't /have/ to take calculus in high school though, it's optional. Of course if you plan on going to a good university you'd better take it.

Op what's the answer of this?

In my state, most high school graduates can go off to a university. If they didn’t do well enough to go straight to a university, they could do two years in a community college, then transfer.

im a kyoto university student hehe

Are you not white?

is it common for Japanese mathematicians to name functions I(x) and J(x)? Because here it's usually f(x) and g(x).

Lol. She's the only attractive girl in the video. This is so unbelievable.

I don't understand what it says, but surely would have been able to do it as an undergrad, maybe even highschooler. I can most definitely do it now.
Have you not taken higher level mathematics. It's typical for an integral function to be named I(a,b).

I know for a fact that there was a time when I could easily do these things, and not just for a brief moment due to admission exams, but for the entire duration of my engineering degree. However, now that I've been out of school for 5 years, for the life of me I have no fucking clue anymore how to solve those. It would probably come back to me fairly quickly if I looked it up, but for my everyday work (even when I was doing research as a grad student) it's completely and utterly useless.

jesus christ what an annoying self-centered melodramatic bitch

I cannot fucking stand people who try to make themselves out to be the fucking protagonist of the universe. Nobody cares about your fucking whining, you dumb bitch.

orcsex?

integration is fun as puzzles but are total memes irl
like sudoku

srcsinx

Same... I mean they do but only the basic stuff like derivatives and limits. And at uni professors (not maths professors, but some other ones) are then surprised that we can't do integration. Which isn't hard actually and it should be taught, but the education system is a joke.
Also we learn about complex numbers only at uni, before that you've never heard that term.

i can’t even do basic algebra

70% of all HS grads in the US go to college at some point so yes. However most don’t see it through.
