Wtf Chinese GDP per capita is like $10,000. That's literally 80% of what I make. Why the fuck are they still allowed to get away with being a "developing country" in the WTO?
Wtf Chinese GDP per capita is like $10,000. That's literally 80% of what I make...
>he's barely making more than a developing country's GDP per capita
What about these guys
because almost the half of their population still lives in the sewer
socialism works bro :)
>only 1,400 more than my annual salary
God I hope the US starts couping LatAm again like in the good old days.
gdp is not equal to wages you retard, people in china make like 200 usd a month and average wage in brownentina is 146 usd a month while you are making 2k a month while woking minimum wage.
>while you are making 2k a month
God I wish.
Average salary in Beijing: 3735 USD
Average salary in Seoul: 3835 USD
not that big a difference
Not sure what you base your "living in the sewer" remark on.
90% of americans have a minimum wage of 11.90 usd an hour or more, that is 1904 usd a month and this is just the base salary without counting a possible bonus, meaning that most americans working full time minimum wage make more than 2k a month.
you are exactly proving his point.
He is saying, except for tier 1 coastal areas, many Chinese live close to the poverty level
Bonus? For a minimum wage job?
Ahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha
>The average monthly salary was 8,452 yuan ($1,228.38) in 37 major cities during the second quarter of this year, with Beijing, Shanghai and Shenzhen all topping 10,000 yuan, according to a report released on Wednesday.
>Beijing ranked first among these cities with its average monthly salary reaching 11,204 yuan, followed by Shanghai (10,662 yuan) and Shenzhen (10,088 yuan)
11,204 yuan = $1674.07

I have another article to show you except it's Korean. Not sure you'll be in denial only because you cannot check it yourself.
Bonus as in 25% tax deduction? Lol
Because WTO's cap on "developing" is $12,000. And as long as China devalues its currency, they can keep saying they're poor for the next 5-10 years.
I remember reading 50% of wagies have a bonus
>$10,000. That's literally 80% of what I make
>flag
you are living in poverty or with your parents.
some of those are fake, that website says average wage in usa is 97k usd a year, and I remember seeing a website saying that average wage in brownentina was 47k usd a year when in reality it is less than 2k a year. avg wage in shangai if I remmber correctly was around 350 usd a month, it should be around that number in beijin.
>In 2015 the bottom 50 per cent in China earn approximately 15 per cent of total national income versus 12 per cent in the USA and 22 per cent in France; while the top 1 per cent earns about 14 per cent of national income, versus 20 per cent in the USA and 10 per cent in France
>barely made it 10k thanks to shit loads of government expenditure
>somehow income distribution is on par with america if not worse
yeah it's fucked and you know it
>watch a YouTube video of some guy going to a restaurant in China
>$2 USD for a bowl of rice, a side of veggies, and some sliced stir fry beef slices and $0.50 bottle of beer
Seems like even these people with extremely low wages can afford a decent meal for cheap. Standards of living are different in other countries, like different states/provinces/cities. In LA you can't get a good place to rent for $2000, but in flyovers, you can get by with $500.
This is probably a case of mean vs median wage.
Here a lot of people act like $100K/year makes you middle class. In reality, only 10% of the population make six figures.

This news article says, according to the 2019 national wage report from the National Bureau of Statistics of China:
>The average annual wage of salarymen across the 23 provinces of China reached 68,000 CNY (around 12k KRW)
>In the four cities of 北上广深 (Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Shenzhen) it was recorded that most working residents earned yearly around 50k~80k CNY on average.
>The majority of the 2nd and the 3rd tier cities however earned below 70k CNY on average.
What struck me is,
>Based on this report, Chinese who earn more than 20k KRW yearly (that is around $17.6k) number approximately 70 million.
So out of 1.5 billion people, only 70 million earn more money than the below middle class South Koreans do.
Doesn't matter, they are pulling rural people out of poverty as we are speaking, they'll get there, they just need some time.
Ok, Beijing mogs Taipei from what I've read though
you make $12.500/year?
he is either an illegal or working part time minimum wage.
China GDP per capita is 17,000$ ppp, it was like 20,000$ ppp last year.
Comparing nominal GDP numbers without factoring in PPP is retarded.
>ppp
massive cope, more like pee pee pee
China has about 20% of earth population
It is impossible for China to reach that developing country GDP.
It is sad but true.
Use GDP PPP retard, Chinese people buy Asian products, nominal is only useful if you are closer to USA
> china make like 200 usd
Minimum wage in the most poor place is 170 usd.
Isn't the per capita of the US like 50k?
Get a better job wagie
My man do you know how bad things were over there just 10 years ago? Compared to then and especially compared to 1949 they’ve made massive progress. For comparison India and China had the same GDP in 1990 (china was lower before that)
