I'm trying to convince a friend that thinks that China is better, that it's not.
What are some controversial things that have happened in China that come to your mind?

3000yrs of civilization burns to a crisp under the rule of a retarded gommie
Lol you made this same thread on reddit and even they downvoted the fuck out of you
You should ask him why there are Chinese people escaping from China all over the world. Compared to that, there are few Japanese immigrants.
reddit is CCP owned, so of course they would.
This has to be taken into account. People se videos of chinese people ignoring injured people and unjustly call them insects when is likely most of them want to help but they're afraid it will ruin their life.
R*ddit is the most anti-China website I've seen
this. westoids wouldn't want to live there
Thankfully China managed to implement a public healthcare system since then so this case doesn’t really apply anymore
It was still a mistake on their part unfortunately

The extermination of sparrows is also known as Smash Sparrows Campaign (Chinese: 打麻雀运动; pinyin: Dǎ Máquè Yùndòng) or Eliminate Sparrows Campaign (Chinese: 消灭麻雀运动; pinyin: Xiāomiè Máquè Yùndòng), which resulted in severe ecological imbalance, being one of the causes of the Great Chinese Famine.
the cultural revolution lol
Most westerners I know who moved to China moved back because it's a hectic, stressful place and the government won't let you put down roots.
Most westerners I know who moved to Korea hated it too. Some of them also lived in China for years, and all of those people would be very happy to tell you Korea is only marginally better than China.
Nearly every westerner I know who has lived in Japan or Taiwan or even Vietnam either stayed there or talks about how much they miss it. Never hear any of that talk about China or Korea.
Chinese food is very good as long as it's cooked outside mainland China
The reform stops a ton of other fucked up issues but I don't see how it makes that case irrelevent since it's criminal related, not liability.
What's wrong with food cooked in mainland China?
chinese street food is cooked in this youtu.be
>Radio Free Asia
kek
Nothing, just steer clear of shitholes using gutter oil and substituting rat for beef or whatever
they throw in bats and dogs
Haven’t they been cracking down on it in recent years?
This 100%
Could not believe how shite the food was in Mainland China having eaten tons of food cooked by first-generation immigrants in Canada using fresh Canadian ingredients.
The real main issue is that supply chains in China are inefficient as fuck and so fresh produce and meat is impossible to get in the big cities.
Canada is a shithole
>The real main issue is that supply chains in China are inefficient as fuck
Literally what lmao. You do know the real reason they’re the manufacturing center of the world right?
Thanks Mexico
It's in Japan and the UK. Restaurants in Hong Kong are better than Chinese restaurant chains in the US.
Internal food supply chains I should have specified. China is still very much a planned economy at its core and with everything geared towards industrial productive capacity internal agricultural supply chains suffer.
