Yes, but the downside of immigration is: Immigrants NEVER leave their nationality and culture at their doorstep, they always remain loyal to their country and even try to create a version of their land inside the country they immigrated to.
It's all cute and stuff when we have a minority of asians having a cute little district for themselves in São Paulo, the problem is when that ONE district turns into TEN or more, and they are no longer the minority.
My family has some houses to rent, one of our houses, far away from Liberdade district in São Paulo, got rented by a full chinese family, they don't even fucking speak portuguese.
That spells the end of a nation. The only reason we brazilians, from Rio Grande do Sul do Rio Grande do Norte, remain under the brazilian flag is because we speak the same language and share some likings, as soon as that changes, the spirit of separatism rises.
That's why Uruguay ran from us, they speak spanish and have some hispanic culture.
