Czechia makes more sense
i dont get it why dont they just annex slovakia???????
They should make an union with Slovakia so their country goes back to the shape of sperm
No they should reclaim their old borders.
Czechy
They changed their official English name from "Czech Republic" to "Czechia" in 2016.
Both names are currently in common usage.
i find pronouncing czech to be too hard so i still call them chegiaslowakia
ugh, what could have been
Then you should just give them the whole of Silesia and Lusatia.
t. EU4 player.
They recently officially changed it to Czechia
>Czechia
this name has been recently adopted, anyway "Repubblica ceca" is a long name and we used to informally call them "Cechia" (pronounced exactly like "Czekia") for quite a long time.
The perfidious Albion isn't maybe used to call it with their short name but we, the real Yurop, used to craft a short name since the dissolution of Czechoslovakia.
I've been calling it "Czechia" since forever, it's the more natural way to refer to them.
I'd say that some people (10+ years ago) used to call them "Czechoslovakia" whilst still using the name "Slovakia" to refer to Slovakia; for some reasons Praha retained the "Czechoslovakia" trademark, if that makes sense.
fun fact: Czech citizens are called "Cechi" in Italian; "Cechi" is pronounced exactly like "ciechi", which is the plural for "blind" in Italian. For this reason we usually prefer the short name when referring to the Country but a long periphrasis when referring to their citizens (e.g.: "cittadini cechi", "cittadini della cechia") to avoid unappropriated jokes
I hope we can write it as Chequia
Tšekki
Its bohemia
That's the way we're supposed to write it in Spanish.
É na tcheca dela karái!
Its moravia
no one calls them czechia. it's czech republic
bohemia*
I like mine better. Bohemia is too mainstream
You know how long it took to kick those leeches out?
>Czechia or Czech Republic
Why the fuck are you asking us? It's how you call us. We call our country "Česko". Just decide what you want to call us and stick with it.
Except the ruler was always known as the king of Bohemia, not the margrave of Moravia. Also, moravians are cunts.

I dated Italian grill for a year and she told me that when she told her parents her bf is czech, they were like "poor boy how did it happen to him ;_;"
Despite making up only 38.5% of population, non-bohemians commit over 50% of violent crimes in Czechia
We should go with the danish version
>Just decide what you want to call us and stick with it
Fine, I'm going to call your country Faggotlandia from now on.
Didn't expect anything else from a burgerstani.
