I think indeed arabs commit more crimes than blacks, but the real reasons of why "french white" people accept blacks way more than arabs is mostly because of religion (large majority of black people in france are christians) and also culture, black people tend to integrate more into the french society than arabs who usually start with a bigger malus since their culture is very distant from the western one

In middle and high school i had 3 white friend, one black friend (from one of our island not african) and one arab but not muslim (only his mother)
