Why do vikings get so much praise? They were brainlet barbarians who only knew how to pillage and kill
vikings didnt live in mudhuts they had wooden buildings and towns
sure it wasn't grand marble cities with apartments and sewage like in Rome or Athens or whatever but it wasnt africa tier either
Cuz Scandis know how to sell their image internationally.
>they had wooden buildings and towns
I dunno bro seems Africa tier to me
Who told you that?
Wikipedia or your local rabbi?
I like this Heilung song
youtu.be
because they are the epitome of masculinity
Tell me anything relevant they did
Raiding churches doesn't count
Heilung is gay
I live in an old wooden house.
honestly this sounded to me like white people larping as africans
epic take from a country that became permanently irrelevant a few hundred years after getting their hands on half the gold on the planet
Timber is pretty much objectively the best building material.
Sounds more aboriginal to me
When people say "wooden house" I imagine a Abe Lincoln log cabin.
They were excellent sailors. Even sailed the Atlantic ocean. We don't even know how they could navigate, given that Europe didn't yet have the compass. And yet they safely made it across the North sea time and time again. And their ships were pretty magnificent as well. Suited for the open sea but also pretty shallow and therefore suitable for travelling up rivers and quickly disembarking on shores. Vikings were skilled and competent people.
Also their poetry was fucking lit, in case you're interested in that kind of stuff.
Because everyone started grouping against us
Meanwhile Sweden is known right now for being a haven of multiculturalism
If that's what being relevant is then I prefer staying unknown
Wooden houses can be modern, rustic, rural romantic, traditional or whatever.
>Mr. Self taught viking expert
The viking long ship was a revolutionary design able to do things no other vessel at the time could.
> Scandinavian forests = Africa
?
>design able to do things no other vessel at the time could.
Within the Northern European cultural sphere. Not true for the Mediterranean let alone the rest of the world.
Good for insulation
Agree and Continentals and Brits always ask “why do the Americans build their houses out of flimsy wood”. When in reality, they’re the only ones living like Hobbitses in stone houses because they didn’t have any forests.
>Continentals
>No forests
You can never be sure with Americans
Give me one other ship at the time that was as versatile and agile as the longships at the time.
If they were actually referring to wood as a whole they're pretty retarded. But of course a house made from particle board is gonna be flimsy.
white sins aren't sins
Polynesian ships, Byzantine ships, Arabic ships.
Show me them
Are you genuinely trying to argue here that Viking seafaring accomplishments are anywhere near Polynesian ones? I mean seriously, that's some Varg-tier shit. They colonized the pacific ocean.
how funny it is to watch how modern Scandinavian fagot femboys try to pretend to be brutal Vikings.
We're talking about superior boat versatility and agility, dumb cunt. Historians are literally on my side. Did you finger yourself during reading comprehension classes?
>femboys
That's homo terminology.
The main thing is that she perfectly describes modern Scandinavian men.
