Croat background. All slavs i meet are generally good individuals, particularly when it comes to normal living and in politics they're conservative. Relaxed, based, and never disconnected from reality. The women who westernize get bad personalities though, since they adapt to their social environment. I guess that's the problem too though: being too adaptive. Let's say you want a road: "Who cares, we can walk over muddy ground. Not afraid of mud are you? Plus it will take a long time to build. Sit down and relax" It's not a problem at a day to day level, but if you're running a country they won't be showing the initiative from the bottom level, and bad things tend to stay. I would want all my neighbors to be slavs, but my government to run by anglos and germans, except for the head which can be slavs again.

I had the luck of living in 1990s (impoverished) Poland for a few years and formed some of the most lasting and memorable friendships, and met some of the nicest and prettiest women who were not afraid to love you back.
Now I've went back and it seems dead and soul-less Americanized monoculture and the Zoomers are brain dead and decadent.

I work with the Ukrainian and Russian who immigrated here in the 90s, I took Russian in university and i got lucky finding a job at an adult wellness center for the elderly slavs. I work on my Russian and Ukrainian every day by just existing at work. Im honestly so happy to get the experience and practice with language. but they are also very interesting and funny people! slavic thought and mindset is lowkey based
