27y old, got the license but no car as I dont need one.
1,5km to work, 400m to nearby little grocery store, 1,5km to supermarkets, electronic stores and few clothing stores.

My second attempt at getting my driving license is what made me give up on life completely, I spent around 3000€ on a car and another 1500€ on lessons, I was always a nervous wreck behind the wheel but I thought I did pretty well on the final test only for my instructor to yell at me for like 5 minutes straight afterwards, it fucking broke me and I realized I'll never be a functioning adult.
Shortly after that I quit my job and gave up on my friends, I saw no point in trying anymore. Been a NEET for about 2 years now. The car I bought, which I'm not allowed to drive, just stands outside and rusts, reminding me of my failures every day haha

Get caught drunk driving last month only after driving for 6 months at 25. it was my first-time drunk driving also.
After 7 months I will probably get my driving licence back after a psycho test and I can go to prison for a long time if I get in any little accident with a car. Fuck that.
I was driving because everyone else was doing it anyway. Also, I have a criminal record now for such a lame "crime". I will have an even harder time finding a job now.

If you're a clumsy person, just don't drive. The risk of prison or death is just too high. That's the only way you can probably die young in our modern world and for what? A waste of money to get somewhere 5 minutes faster.

But driving is fun.

Keratoconus. there's not much known about it and there's no cure. mine seems to have stabilised fortunately but its very frustrating and there are many things that I loved to do that I can't anymore because of it

And driving a long path to new places is shit, because I'm bad at new directions.
But you must drive if you're a man, it's a law. Otherwise everyone will hate you for being retarded.

Unless the roads have more holes than swiss cheese it's pretty cool to drive, specially on areas where the speed limit isn't enforced. Inside cities it can be kind of shitty but if everything it's well signalled and the cars aren't all cutting each other off it's cool enough still.
