You're only first world if your PC is AMD.
You're only first world if your PC is AMD
My PC is AMD+Nvidia, and maybe soon AMD+AMD.
I have an intel cpu and amd gpu. I'm not a mutt by blood so I compensated for that with my pc.
I have an overclocked i7-2600K and still works great. I honestly don't want another desktop but Thunderbolt laptop/hybrid along with an eGPU and a NAS server. And since I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 8, I can pretty much substitute my laptop for work, and Samsung Dex just keeps getting better.
Worst combo
fuck my macbook pro
I'll go full AMD when RDNA 2 is released.

>AMD Ryzen
There are people on /g/ that keep track of every 2% power increase between CPUs and make memes based on which CPU runs 5c warmer than the other.
People that even know the difference between an AMD and Intel are so far down the consumerist rabbit hole it's not even funny anymore. A CPU does so fucking little unless you professionally unzip files for a living it's hardly interesting to look at. Yet they decide to dedicate their lives to a CPU which they inevitably use for gaming.
>Intel represented as red / AMD as blue
what kind of mouthbreathing retard made this map?
AMD sucks.
i was going to buy a Ryzen 5 3600 today but it was a bit too much over my budget so i had to get a 3400G, hopefully it's not too bad
>buying a 4 core CPU in the year twenty-tweny
holy yikes
hey im not gonna be running rocket science on it, just some games
how good are the integrated graphics on that?
AMD CPUs are good if you're on a budget but overall they suck for gaming snd 9 times out of 10 will bottleneck the hell out of your GPU
Intel + Nvidia
i am not sure, i'm just gonna pair it with a GTX 1650S and see how it goes
well never mind then, guess they've stepped up their game since I last used an AMD card
honestly I was expecting this kind of response, I just wanted to make a post someone would reply to
Yeah dude Ryzen decimated intel
It's a good processor for almost any kind of end user, the APU does well for rendering, 3D design, encoding and gaming, I personally think that 4 cores, while not being a huge deal it's a little disappointing in the sense that you hoped they added 1 more core for future proof reasons. Still the purpose of the 3400G is not about processing power, but being the best cheaper option that saves you money in many ways and also to steal users from Intel.
brainlet
I don't even know what parts I have in my PC
bought my pc in 2020 when Intel was still considered better than amd
2014 brainfart
It's the opposite. AMD is best for gaming, Intel is best for workstations (including CGI and CAD).

I'm actually quite young, just care more about lax and history than some company rivalry that just drums up more sales for each

I only use mac
