Trump is seen as anti-establishment. He won the 2016 election because he managed to flip the rust belt, a region that usually votes blue because he heavily campaigned on fighting offshoring and bringing jobs back to America. After 4 years though people have gotten tired of his mannerisms and he lost an election to someone almost equally as bad with dogshit policies but still lost because Biden is polite and presidential.

Americans have, as a whole, become more and more lonely and less social. Left without strong community or numerous social connections, they don't have a sense of place and struggle with in-group identity. As such, they are HIGHLY susceptible to being swept up in sports-team politics and gaining a sense of self-righteousness from the "moral superiority" of whatever political team they choose, as well as a big bad enemy to pour all their focus into to cope with the fact they have poorer prospects and fewer friends on average than Americans in prior decades had.

Why do all Americans smile in photos? I think I have never seen a photo of American who is not smiling in a photo

I don't understand how easily uprooted Americans are. I see them on TV shows about buying houses and they'll go "yeah, Karen wanted to pursue her career across the country so I just quit my job and we came here, I'll get a job soon enough". That's a fucking nightmare to me, not least because if you're not in the biggest 4-5 cities you'll metaphorically starve

Why does the Slavic sphere take so much pride in NOT smiling? I'm pretty sure in regular normie photos I've seen in Latin America, Africa, the Middle East, and East Asia, people are smiling.
