The plan was to let it build by a single big company that knows what they are doing, but all of the sudden these retards thought it was a great idea to give all jobs to smaller companies without any useful way to bring them together. So basically nobody knew what the other did and shit was delayed again and again, but at least we supported a lot of smaller companies way to good with our tax money...

Problem right now is bureaucracy. Everything, really everything in Germany is regulated somehow with hundrets of pages behind it. On top there are more EU regulations. There is no room for innovation, growth, etc. And people are too afraid to invest. They rather live in their comfort zone enabled by post-war working people.

How long does it take to build a new bridge in Shanghai? A month, built by Germans there with highest safety. In Germany it takes three years built by some third party Polish company.

Siemens builds the best high speed trains. Where are they used? In China, while the trains in Germany are shit tier, always damaged and most of the time late or canceled.

Like, my city wanted to build a new stadium, and they fell for the Deutsche Qualität meme and awarded the bid to a German engineering office to manage the construction. So they built some stuff, and before installing the roof, experts checked the infrastructure and found out they unironically squeezed out one fucking third of the steel from the reinforced concrete to cut costs. So they had to destroy everything to rebuild it as a stupid cost and when the city wanted to sue them and get insurance compensation, they just put themselves under financial failure. Then the city tried to get compensation from the office's mother company, which in turn declared bankruptcy. After year of judicial shit, the guys got away with everything, and the only thing that left is a fucking unfinished half stadium (pic related) because all the budget has been spent already.
