Not really, they want to dissolve all national pride and create a humanistic society where knowledge, science and personal experience are the priorities, thus to maximize scientific knowledge they need to create societies where distinct groups can coexist within the same boundaries and all have pride in global humanity, nature and science instead of their own country and culture. Not being mixed by itself but by being one and the same, which is what miscegenation leads to. This come from our history of internal revolts and a quasi dictator we had in the 1930s which sought to put a stop to them as a whole. He succeeded by completely destroying regionalism nd any form of ethnical culture culture. He went in doing so by promoting miscegenation, banning the speaking of other languages other than Portuguese (which was common immigrant communities) and forbidding their cultural rites, as well as breaking up some of the more closed communities in order to integrate them.
