white ppl won't get this one

I spent an afternoon in Lodz. I saw a preg teenager smoking cigs there

I've been living there for 7 years (currently back in my hometown because of covid). I've stayed so long because of the people here who are much friendlier and more open than in any other city in Poland. Unfortunately, Łódź has very bad press in Poland because of some out-of-date memes.

>I've been living there for 7 years

Poor you

> because of some out-of-date memes.

I visit Łódź every year and while some places have been improved still the general feeling is extremely depressive. I don't think there is a worse looking city in the EU.

what is your opinion on Berlin?

It's a top world class city, anyone who says it's ugly or poorly developed has clearly never been to real eastern Europe

my friend who moved there says its boring

why would someone from Slovenia even move there

imagine being a 700k city and being completely irrelevant even in your country not to mention Europe

Based. I guess the people of Berlin and Lodz can related in terms of others from their respective countries crying murder while being 180° wrong.

>while being 180° wrong

About Berlin - yes. About Łódź - not at all.

Dude, Berlin is the capital city of one of the richest countries in the world, obviously it's objectively a great, wealthy city even if it falls behind the top of the top like London on New York and people who say that Berlin is a shithole are obviously joking.

Łódź on the other hand is a really impoverished, poorly maintained and underdeveloped city and it's no joke.

German posters are serious though when they say this. There is a lot of resentment.

Berlin is a shithole compared to west german cities, and it's a bigger shithole due to migrants now

Well, maybe they compare what Berlin is to what Berlin could be if not for WW2 and the Wall. Then sure, Germans can feel like their capital is a bit underdeveloped and maybe they think it affects their nation as a whole because countries are usually judged by their capitals/biggest cities. But objectively Berlin is in the top of best places to live in the world just like all other German cities.

Looks comfy but quite boring to be honest.

I've never been to Łódź but I heard it's not as bad as they say

>Berlin is a shithole compared to west german cities,

Exaggeration. NRW cities are worse, some cities in north-west Germany aren't particularly great either. But still the German standards are so high so these are really minor differences, a person from abroad is still shocked how developed all these cities are and you need to go really deep to realize one city is slightly better than another.

it isn't a problem with services but a problem with quality of people i think. People in Berlin are just shittier.

You know I don't listen to these kind of posts anymore. I know both first-hand and I know more statistics than you do.
Berlin is the best city in Germany, not on paper but everyone who has been there and then goes anywhere else in Germany will feel like travelling back in time but not in a good way.

THHEEEEEEEEOOOOO
WIR FAHRN NACH LODZ

Try to be more explicit what exactly is "shittier" about the people.

THEEEEEEE_OOOOOO

I never been there, sorry.
It's weird how irrelevant that city is considering it's size. In relevancy ratings it goes
>warsaw
>kraków
>wrocław
>gdańsk
>poznań
>katowice
With all other cities not being in the news really often

A project I worked on bought 230kV ABB transformers manufactured there so to me it seems industrial.

user... i am you and you are me...

It's Polish

Dude, you literally posted a factory, not a city. Charleroi as a city is still far superior to anything in eastern Europe. You don't even realize how huge the gap between western and eastern cities is

THHEEEEEEEEOOOOO
