Wasn't that the stuff what helped made them the global superpowers for a good several centuries?
Butthurt caused by their butthurt neighbors
Eternal butthurt circle
They don't. You should stop believing what you read in the media

Open a history book. That shit doesn't end well if you are so close together.
We've been brainwashed to think that showing the mildest sign of patriotism means fascism and bigotry.

There might be some big historical event associated with nationalism that made it so politically incorrect and taboo. Not sure what it could be though.
Germanics can't stop shitting everything up
Hardly seems an excuse after 80 years
They have had no reason to re-embrace nationalism since. Should NATO fall and genuine wars reappear between nations you'd see nationalism make a sharp comeback.
As it stands things like the refugee crisis caused some pretty rapid sentiment changes in some countries
It's considered divisive by the average person. They believe in globalistic ideas like the EU, Nato, Schengen etc.

It is though, after the bloodiest biggest war we’ve ever had everyone collectively looked down on what happened and hated Hitlers Germany which will make nationalism very taboo for them for a long time until it begins to crop up again. Europe will take longer than the Americas to actually be nationalistic again unfortunately
we literally consider ourselves superior to westcucks even though we see the devastation around us. We still hate our government though
When we talk about "the war" we are still referring to WW2. It is a huge part of our national and historical conscience.
Because sovereign nation states are relatively new and recent concept to the continent. Europe for most of history have been empires and kingdoms of conquered tribes ruled by foreign monarchs. Nations like "Italy" and "Germany" are just concepts with no long founding myth or legend that unites them like America. Today we consider Germans and Austrians different people with unique identities , 100 years ago this was a hotly contested idea .
A good chunk of the so-called nations of Europe actually very fragile entities filled with tribal tensions and sectarianism, see the UK, Italy, Spain.
Scotland is patriotic
We don't. We just know the proper balance
It caused two world wars
Nationalism will likely never come back.

Say something bad about Germany here or elsewhere and a ton of germans will sperg out at you in rightious fury.
Brazilians and other thirdies will at most say fuck you but will commonly agree with you. We also commonly (with good reason) think we are the only ones doing things the right way.
Am Deutschen Wesen soll die Welt genesen.
We cut off their balls in 1945. They can no longer feel true anger, only sadness.
because patriotism and national pride was always leading to wars, genocide and in general was holding europe backwards
