Gdańsk is rather ugly and badly maintained outside the few streets in the centre. Poznań wasn't as destroyed in WW2.

also poznań isn't well maintained. The problem of all big cities in Poland is that they are shitholes, while the smaller towns are comfy, but then there is Toruń which is exception, there are also many well maintained cities in eastern poland such as rzeszów and białystok, but then there isn't really a such thing as well maintained big city in Poland
