Do this is how it is in first world lol

The free market will fix it.

but why?

no, I'm on my 4th TB this month
why is that happening? have a link?

no

desu most days i dont use more than 1TB, 1TB a day is bad but not THAT bad. i think i only used that when i formatted my comp or got a new hard drive.
still data caps are 1990s shit i wouldnt sign up to a company that limited my data

Don't worry. This will be worldwide in a few years.

this is 1.2 TB a month user

I'm surprised they havent started taxing internet (and internet content) already

Muh pandemic is cutting into Concrap's billion-dollar profits. Still, this is just more proof that none of the shit that was supposed to be given away for free for "humanitarian reasons" in the middle of the pandemic was actually free.

why is this company committing sudoku? they're gonna have 0 subs if they limit you that hard. is this marketing bs to push new higher speed internet deals?

oh yes they will

Comcast might be the largest internet provider in the country, if Comcast is in your area they undoubtedly have the best infrastructure, speeds, and reliability compared to the shit-tier tiny local/regional services

>cutting into Concrap's billion-dollar profits.
it looks like they're just being merchants, not actually losing profit if it's true

My internet provider is a co op. We be commies

>1.2TB a month
i used around 600gb in the past week. Imagine if you lived with other relatives watching netflix at 4k. You would hit the cap within 2 weeks.

Don't worry, now that drumpf is gone the Democrats will stop this.

You just need to harass some call center agents to get you unlimited data cap.
We pretty much have all the tools for that. Just call customer service and shout at the operator to get what you want.
They cannot hang up or else they get terminated.

No.
That's why the US providers are bent on preventing foreign providers to set up in the USA.

both me lol

and I would guess they're losing profits, although we're probably talking a profit of only 900 million instead of 1 billion

>why is this company committing sudoku?

Why do you think? They have the monopoly. And you can't switch to another provider, because they own the network they laid underground.

pain

>data cap
why? someone should firebomb their infrastructure for such behavior

Verizon chad reporting in

if they're limiting to 1tb a month they have zimbabwe-tier infrastructure, other companies will overtake em easily
i used to have 500 Mb connection from one company but after i moved apartments it was all shitty, slow and kept disconnecting. so i called another company and 2 days later i had 1Gb internet for like 10 extra shekels a month.

its the same with phone companies you gotta switch between em every few months to always have the best service.

>data cap

>other companies will overtake em easily
OH NO NO NO NO

No

SAVE US ELON

internet access is the single thing that should be getting universally better, not worse, i don't know how they can get away with capping it

>why is this company committing sudoku? they're gonna have 0 subs if they limit you that hard. is this marketing bs to push new higher speed internet deals?
This is why they pushed so hard to have net neutrality repealed

>if they're limiting to 1tb a month they have zimbabwe-tier infrastructure, other companies will overtake em easily
They have an effective monopoly in the areas they operate in. There are no other companies to overtake them.

I tried this before. They told me to fuck off since they were the only providers.

nigga how do you use 1tb commonly

it's not really a limit anyway, they're just jacking up the rates artificially with fines and banking on enough people not noticing or caring
