The Danish People's Party wants to turn abandoned military installations in the remote regions of Greenland into asylum seeker camps. I think this is an exceedingly funny idea. Not only does this keep them out of the way and unable to commit crimes, it also encourages them to leave the country if they don't enjoy the brisk -63°C temperatures and complete lack of sunshine.
Frankly as a nation I think we're just too generous. Imagine, not only do you get to stay while your asylum application is being denied in court, you also get a free trip to a barren wasteland camp on one of our most beautiful colonies.
But the Danes have no right unless the Aboriginals agree.
