What do you dedicate more time to?

I've ended up spending more time studying Japanese than reading manga/watching anime

I only started studying Japanese to read and watch more anime/manga/LNs.
I still don't know enough Japanese to pick something up and read/watch it without trouble, and if I hadn't started learning Japanese and stuck to the translations of others', I would've read 2 or 3 times as much manga by now

I stopped watching anime a couple years back and haven’t found a decent ongoing manga in a while so I just browse Zig Forums now
Most of my threads have hit bump limit though despite not being shounenshit, so that’s nice

At least you'll be able to make some money out of translating doujins.

I've come to the conclusion that the best time to watch/do something is when you first encounter it. Once you've delayed something once, it's easy to do it again and again until you die and you never watched Sengoku Collection like you said you would.

There is nothing autistic about being able to judge how much of your time you spend doing particular things. Do you take pride in not having a functioning brain?

Yeah because normal people totally keep track of how many hours they spend doing leisurely activities. I'll read a book before bed, I am not gonna count how many hours I spent doing it for example. Year to year I watch more anime or read more manga, some years I don't do either. I don't keep a data log of all my time spent.

Last year i watched maybe 3-10different shows a month. Haven’t watched anything this year. Didn’t read any LNs last year but read like 9 volumes of 3 different series past 3 weeks. Come and goes i guess when the mood is right.

Browsing Zig Forums, watching anime, and reading manga in that order. I don't usually really light novels.
