Jobs

I've applied to nearly 50 entry level it jobs and SOC internships and have received nothing back. I'm a physics undergrad, have a sec+ ceryification, worked wjth my family building old ass microphones so I know about electronic assembly, soldering, using cnc machines, Im in a computer security club at my university and Im on the blue and red team for competitions, was president of the fucking chess club and treasurer of the astronomy club, play fucking poker tournaments and bought eth at 5 dollars, live in a midsized city in Florida

WHY THE FUCK CAN I NOT FIND A JOB WHAT THE FUCK I THOUGHT THIS SHIT WAS IN DEMAND I JUST WANT EXP MY FRIEND LITERSLLY JUST WENT TO BARTENDING SCHOOL AND HES GOT AN INTERVIEW DURING A FUCKING PANDEMIC

We’ve entered the age of Galt. A time where civilization doesn’t deserve the fruits of the productive. Chill, make bank with crypto and live in the woods.

get into construction. Hard work but pays well, better than any entry level job you do now. Just dont be lazy user. Do something like mason work.
I have a degree in cs, ended up getting into trades (i know cs pays well but fuck looking at a computer all day).
play with stocks and crypto in the evenings after work.

Id do that if I still had the crypto money. I had like 70k on bitmex by the beginning of 2018 and was all on shorts. Got fucking hacked and since I'm American I didn't pursue it. I've literally got like a grand to my name right now after some series of unfortunate events.

Where in FL OP?

its because theres thousands of other people like you all applying for the same position and the only people that stand out are the ones who did more than you did. this is why college degree jobs are complete memes and the only way to make real money nowadays is to learn a trade and become very good at it. the only way you can make it in the white collar world is to carry a 4.0 gpa and do shittons of volunteering, be a valedictorian of every single class youve been in and make shitloads of projects and theory papers basically have rich parents who will carry your entire schooling career financially

also entry level it jobs you didnt even mention if you have IT certs like A+, Security+, etc. theyre solid gold bars in the eyes of employers and HR people

I know nothing about the industry. I wouldnt mind doing something in the outdoors but would they take somebody that knows nothing? What would the pay be like? Rn I'm currently working with my dad making like 12 an hour doing this technical shit but I wanna get to a point asap where selling my time directly isn't my only source of income.
Tampa, home of gallagher and hulk hogan.
Bro I literally know enough to be a decent script kiddy criminal doing fucking cc fraud or something I thought people without degrees get into IT all the fucking time
I have a security+ I mentioned that. And I'm on the computer security clubs competition teams

Most lower-level InfoSec positions are outsourced to Eastern Europe these days, so the competition for the few remaining ones in the US is fierce. Unless you are a 'top performer' as one user already mentioned you are not getting the job.

its because of your CV
>HR fag here

You're probably right. I'm awful at selling myself. Ive never had to write a cv or a resume because I've always worked with my family. Can you help me out user?
I literally just want help desk or something those can't also be taken could they? It would literally be easier to make money as a criminal but I dont want to do that.

>bought eth at 5 dollars

why the fuck are you looking for a job then? either larp or retarded weak hands bitch, either way fuck off

Why didn’t you do your research? Physics majors at low level universities don’t make any money. Look up your college on collegescorecard

here

Can you do Android/iOS dev? Willing to learn Kotlin and work remotely?

I'm having the same problem. I don't think it's your resume. I think there is just a hiring freeze right now because of corona.

With your credentials i'd say go climb up the lineman ladder. The trick is to combine your degree with a trade.

>Your degree plus an Elevator Mechanic certification could net you a lot of work

>bought eth at 5 dollars
And why did you need a jobs again?

The information is all the same dude Im still applying for entry level it idk why someone would favor a liberal arts person from a slightly "better" school over a physics major from a lower one
Lol I like this did you use this unironically?
My programming knowledge is actually pretty shit to my shame. I know the syntaxes and structure of most languages but haven't really built anything with them and don't know many algorithms. I could probably learn how to do that though.
Maybe
Man I just want to hack shit and trade

>Willing to learn the Hindu and praise Vishnu sir?

I was gonna join the air force but they told me it didn't matter if I had already gotten my security+ when I asked them and that they were gonna put me with what was available. I also have some qualms about helping the system kill people but its not so black and white

Larp, someone that productive would have long ago found a job.

you need to network aka suck dick for favors

You need to willing to relocate, also most places will not hire you for any positions unless you have experience, entry level positions require experience today, which you can usually get through internships.

That is unironically a good resume, as long as HR does not think you are an actual brony

Whole reason I found out about it was cause I was ordering dmt in highschool and shitposting on biz. I watched it even before the DAO hack but didn't buy any til I saw the EEA announcement in January 2017. Eth wasn't really 5 I was rounding down I really bought at 7. I can't prove I did it but idc that's besides the point. I fucking remember ripple being at half a penny, I remember the fucking bitbean memes, antshares, all that shit. Honestly I might have some mild ptsd from that but whatever the past has passed.
I thought help desk is where people started and thats where I've been applying. Along with tier 1 SOC internships. Relocating would really fuck me cause all my dogs are here and they're probably the only things keeping me from killing myself at this point.

>that color scheme
thought this was an RSR thread

sell knives

Show us an example letter youve sent.
Give us some proper entertainment you sperg

I unironically sat through one of those cutco "training" sessions where they sell you on selling knives for them and give you the script and shit. I still have it lol. Obvious multi level marketing scheme and I talked to the dude selling the workers and was like I can help you sell people on selling knives but he didn't want any of that lol.

good. every MLM is a scam without exception.

Alright

fucking retard. You don't deserve a job
>buh I do normie stuff in skool!
just kill yourself.
>electronic assembler @ microphones
dipshit fucking brainlet doesn't even speak English no wonder so many retard stories come out of FL.

I don't think it's so bad
