Ōsawa stated that although initial sales of the manga's first compiled book volume were fairly good, additional printings did not continue to sell as well. The digital version also did not sell well at all. Ōsawa added that there are no plans for an overseas release.

People barely buy Marvel comics in the first place nowadays, so even though it's a manga this isn't surprising.
They introduced a female love interest but revealed that she was a dyke. Other than that, I’m guessing the target audience couldn’t relate to the main character.
