Small landlords

Anyone else got cash tied up in property they wish they could put into crypto?

I have about $120,000 (max) in equity in some rentals that earn me about $20,000 per year in rent.

I feel like crypto could do better than that, even just holding btc. And I'm also BORED of the venture. I got them a few years ago and renovated them. Not that fun any more.

Anyone dumped property lately? It's a difficult time to do so, not many people buying.

I wouldn't even think of dumping something that earning me the equivalent of an $11/hr job gross.
I'm dead serious, in these times that would be really fucking stupid. People will always need somewhere to live. People will not always need to hire you.
Put up with that shit for a few more years then re-evaluate.

Can't you remortgage any of the property and free up some cash for Linkies?

You can get the income from both. Take out a mortgage on the property, put it all into Chainlink/Ether, then use it all on Aave as collateral to make your mortgage payments. Make sure all your borrows are in USDT, just in case Tether crashes.

I have a couple of £50k flats that get me £500pm, government pays the tenant's rent as Housing Benefit.

It is beyond comfy and I wouldn't even think of ditching them for something as speculative as crypto.

Bored? Haha. Well mate in case you get in crypto, be sure to gamble a small portion of it on a casino such as play.earnbet.io as it is decentralized and may make you a quick buck just in case your other investments don't work out. I gambled $100, lost $80 but then got a 8.8 time on the $20 so I'm in profits now haha. also, if u make a decent sized multiple on your bet and deposit minimum $100, you'll get a $50 bonus that is withdrawable.

>Can't you remortgage any of the property and free up some cash for Linkies?
>Take out a mortgage on the property

They are both already mortgaged. I can not borrow more.

>have a couple of £50k flats that get me £500pm

That's pretty good, what part of bong are they in? That's cheap as fuck. Where I live 50k won't buy you a cardboard box.

>already mortgaged
That's a shame, but as long as you keep good tenants you're clear. Don't worry so much about opportunity cost, and just focus on what you have already.

Jeez. Must be in Bradford or Hull or somewhere.
£50k buys sod all most places.

You have $120k in proprerties that net you $20k a year? How is that even possible, what can you buy with 120k that can give 16%/year?

Belfast. One of the good things about it being post-conflict is that is is MASSIVELY territorial. You can pick up property in low-income areas for buttons and there will be a perpetual demand for them as rentals because people don't want to leave "their" area.

It's pretty perfect desu.

>You have $120k in proprerties that net you $20k a year? How is that even possible, what can you buy with 120k that can give 16%/year?

The properties are mortgaged, that's just how much equity I personally have in them, i.e. if I sold them how much cash I would walk away with.

guaranteed 20k/yr for minimal work should not be thrown away, dummy. You can make lots of money in crypto, but you also take on a fuckton of risk.

how much of the 20k you use to pay the mortage? and what do you own, small flats?

i'm thinking about buying some, i just want to make enough passive income to not need a 9-5 anymore

>if I sold them how much cash I would walk away with
minus capital gains on all but the primary one

We are selling rentals to buy crypto. Rentals have been totally shit for the past few years. Shitty tenants. Shitty property managers. Awful laws. And we don't even hav remortgages. Tenants can just decide not to pay and it takes almost a year to get them out, unless you wanna play dirty.
We did well for 8 years but we're quitting. Much better off staking stable coins and buying BTC, LINK and ETH. Houses in the UK are selling like hotcakes at the minute. Absolutely gonna offload them. Huge headache.

Residential property taxes gonna go ballistic soon when all these retail businesses fail

>takes almost a year to get them out

What kind of property are you letting? If my tenants (touch wood it hasn't happened yet) don't pay for anything over 3 months, the Housing Executive pays the money directly to me.

>anons in this thread seriously telling op to remortgage for their retarded vaporwave shitcoin chainlink
>op weeps as he is already mortgaged out and cannot take their sage advice to remortgage and buy sergey's bags
mentally handicapped beyond help. sell your properties and lose all your money; i'd rather it go to my local crackheads than your retarded ass, op.

>minus capital gains

I've factored that in, genius. Just accept the figure I stated.

"dur, minus legal fees, too!!!"

If I had not very many chainlink, I'd be looking for ways to free up capital, too. Esp. if you've ben following its progress and believe in the project, as so many of us do.
Swearing and shouting about how much you hate Link is all very well, but that's just your view. Funny how you're on this site at all, given your disdain of the space. Oh let me guess... you're fudding? Shock, horror.
Piss off, loser boy.

Most people don't factor in capital gains when they talk about how much equity they have in property, in my experience. It's good that you do.

You're going to regret this attitude.

Can you tell me about real estate? I was thinking of getting into it but 1) the fucking housing bubble and corona will make renters not pay and it might crash with 50% even 75% 2) the money you get from renting makes back the initial investment in 12-15 years

I was thinking dividends from specifics stocks, but crypto pooling seems to beat the crap out of any passive income I would think of. I can even put my crypto gains into crypto backed by gold so I don't have to exit crypto during the bear market. Hmm maybe platinum over gold.

How's the real estate business? I'm thinking nobody gives a shit about decorations, rich people care about lots of space and large families care about lots of sound-proof rooms so I can turn even a 40 meter apartment into a 4-room apartment.

New to America got 5 Trailers renting out, Dont know if I should just put a portion into Crypto after I start seeing profits in a few months, or just stick with the market and my job for a few more years

Holding BTC is all fun but not having your money yield any return is equally as boring as holding ventures or real estate.

I would suggest staking Bet tokens on game.earnbet.io tokens already listed and dividends monthly is quite high. Makes more sense for me than just holding and having no increase in value of what I hold

what progress? the fake partnerships? the github that gets a few lines of progress a year? sergey continuously dumping his bags? the very few people that adopt chainlink because it fails as an oracle. you know, I promise you I know more about chainlink than you. tell me, what is an oracle, and how does chainlink serve to """"""solve the oracle provlem."""""" chainlink isn't decentralized, isn't an oracle, and doesn't offer a proper solution to anything. even fucking augur is better. it is a shitcoin ponzi, which is fine to throw your spare poorfag pennies into, hoping you'll make some retarded gains that will free you from the life of waging you were retarded enough to get yourself into by achieving a remarkably poor quality of education and getting relegated into an undesirable, low paying career choice, but don't kid yourself that you've done """"research"""" when the wealth of your so called knowledge is entirely substantiated from other anons bullshit on biz, sergeys roadmap that he is nowhere near on pace to meet, and ejaculating over google/oracle blog posts about chainlink winning some retarded competition a few years ago. keep continuing to lick the ass of your cayman islands headquarter'd, undeveloped, useless peace of vaporware. please 'don't care, not selling' all the way back to 0.

>Make sure all your borrows are in USDT, just in case Tether crashes.
Never thought of this, thanks!

What's Housing Executive?
We got houses, no flats. Ex council.

How about play.earnbet.io as an investment and a gamble?

Just buy some BET stake it on EarnBet and receive dividends every month, 50% of the revenue is shared with their token holders. They already doing this for 2 years now.
