the house? they actually have a small disadvantage. BECAUSE they cant adjust their wagering due to what cards are left. players can do that. the house is playing perfectly neutral blackjack. players end up drinking and making sudden huge wagers and lose a whole shitload on one hand. that kind of thing. so the house usually comes out ahead.

This is the dealer algorithm. Blackjack dealers might as well be robots, as someone mentioned. They hit up to a number and then stand.

They do. Dealers have a hidden card and go last. You can go bust and lose before they have to do anything.
