So I'm completely new to investing and I have no idea what to do with my money but here's things I've picked up on so far:

>avoid day trading I'm just gonna lose money out of sheer inexperience, nevermind the fact that I'm still poor means that conversions + commissions will always deny me from making a profit on anything short-term
>try not to buy high
>try not to sell low
>I'm never going to get rich quick play the long game
>I'm leafistani so I should stick with canadian?
>account is a tfsa so I don't know what that means
>don't buy all at once
>I'm a fucking subhuman retard

I've already lost 100 dollars and counting (so I'll just tell myself I paid 100 to learn what not to do)
I just want some passive income so the fuck do I buy
