I doubt anyone will listen, and frankly, I don't blame you. The signal to noise ratio on this board is fucking abysmal.
That said, despite Cardano having a massive market cap, the potential here during the next bull run is incredible. The meme for Cardano naysayers is that they don't release anything, it's vaporware, only a white paper, etc etc.
I'm here to debunk that for those outside the know. Their proof of stake algo has been running for months, 68% of the blocks are being produced by users. This percentage increases by 2% per 5 days, hence, in roughly 80 days, the network will be entirely decentralized. You can expect a consistent minimum of 5% APY for delegating your stake.
Cardano has the unique capability to hard fork without splitting in to two separate tokens. This means that Cardano is the only top blockchain that can implement major protocol upgrades without fragmenting the investor-base.
Time-locking functionality was implemented TODAY, that means that rudimentary smart contracts are officially supported. To come are "Native Tokens" in February. These are a superior equivalent to ERC-20 tokens that can be traded in token bundles, massively decreasing the network load from the DEXs that will inevitably be a part of the network. This means significantly lower gas fees, making so many more uses of the network actually viable.
The treasury system in place is activating now as well, thanks to the new time-locking function. Stakers on the network can vote through the "Catalyst" voting app, opting for which proposed project receives funding for the betterment of the network.
So, there's my pitch, Cardano is a fantastic project that goes completely neglected on this board. If you're chasing some penny-stock bullshit and looking for a 100x, maybe it's the wrong place, but if you want something that has legitimate potential to usurp Ethereum in terms of technology and market cap in the NEAR FUTURE, then look no further.
Couldn't have put it better. But the average Zig Forumslet is to focussed to bite it's teeth out on Hoskinson every single time Cardano gets mentioned here.

>2017/2018 bags We defi nao
Jeremiah Ross
Not a particularly compelling argument. It's been upgrading since its initial release. By your logic I suppose when bitcoin is mentioned you feel the urge to say:
>2011 bags
Learn to recognize a good thing..
Jayden Butler
holding fuck tons of ADA UnIronically the next Tesla or Apple
Caleb Powell
i'm buying those arguments, but i specially like the haskell one.. i only need someone to clearly explain to me how it can be easily and safely translated from js, and how that would be enough of an improvement from solidity/typescript for ada to 'steal' some of ethereum's market share
Nolan Nelson
bought at 1$ ATH. fuck this shitcoin . Gonna take years before I dump my bags. At least I only bought 100.
Cameron Harris
oof sounds like you bought the top and need someone to carry thise bags for ya
Julian Ward
>I only bought 100. Thats how much I make on my weekly staking rewards..
The fact that people overshot the valuation during the price discovery phase does not make the project valueless.
People make mistakes, it's understandable, but frankly I think at this point ADA is highly undervalued at its current price of $0.16, and I think you'd be doing yourself a disservice not to reconsider your position.
In 2017 people overvalued the project based on promises that took years to actually deliver, but those promises are finally a reality, something that can't be said for most projects in this space.
Charles Carter
It's a good filter project for biz, anyone with half a brain cell can notice the potential and already have a bag. And brainlets just screech onions, vaporware, Charles and will miss out. It's an easy play just in the next few months even if you hate it it will make you money. T.50k
Matthew Cox
Where and what do you stake? And how do you stake?
Matthew Harris
Must have over 100k since I make roughly 35-45, every 5 days not even a week.
Wyatt Richardson
The best ways to stake are either by downloading the Daedalus (Full-Node) or Yoroi (Metamask equivalent Chrome extension) wallets. The interfaces are both relatively easy to figure out, simply choose a pool to stake to (one close to, but below 100% saturation to maximize potential rewards), pay the signing fee (~2ADA), and you're good. From there, you're accruing rewards, the first of which you'll see 3 epochs from when you start (~15 days). While staking you have full access to your funds, at no time does your ADA ever leave your wallet.

Thanks for the info, anons

so do you think people will profit of ADA if they buy now ?
Jackson Garcia
I feel quite confident about it.

I'm with you. It's the only crypto out there that I think has a rock solid future and doesn't hve any baggage ie not controlled by globohomo pedos. I think It'll be no. 2 or 3 crypto by market cap within 3 years.
>To come are "Native Tokens" in February. These are a superior equivalent to ERC-20 tokens that can be traded in token bundles Is there going to be an airdrop for these if you hold ADA?
Wyatt Brooks
That's totally up to the people who develop them. Native assets will be decentralized like ERC-20 tokens, and the way people issue them will vary in the same way.
Isaac Gutierrez
Is Ada Still at 17 cents?
Why wont this pump? When are yall going to come along for the ride?
Is this one of those 'Just you wait big things are coming soon' schemes?
Xavier Morgan
Not an airdrop but native tokens basically means they are as versatile as ADA which is the only "true" native token, where in Ethereum ETH is the main asset and all other tokens are ERC-20 which are much more limited in use than the native ETH. Because of this if a token issuer wants to they can choose to allow sending of assets by paying transaction fees with that asset instead of having to own ADA for those fees. Which means that as we get part of the fees from delegating we will also receive these native tokens as part of our reward.
Brandon Bell
It's was two cents earlier this year
Parker Ramirez
It's gone up 25% in the last week pal.
Adam Baker
what are your price predictions yall?
Logan Stewart
Two billion rupees.
Brayden Gonzalez
What timeframe?
Eli Martin
Got 10k worth of Cardano
Joseph Green
Cardano might be great tech but layer 1 wars are over, Ethereum won without any real threat to its dominance. No way will devs adopt a new L1 and start building DeFi up from scratch. Hello there’s an industry worth billions on Ethereum and it isn’t going anywhere. What the actual fuck do people use Cardano for besides staking gains? (which isn’t a long term value proposition)
Ryder James
The absolute top price cardano can reach is 6 usd. That's a 40x from current price
