I know some boomers. I work for one - literally expects me to run his whole business on just two half-day shifts per week (customer service, online ads, marketing, sales, cleaning store, restocking, pricing, etc - everything). Only gives me extra shifts when he goes on one of his boating trips or holidays.
Another boomer I worked for spent over $100K on a fucking pigeon coop, whilst only paying his workers (all Asians, except me) $10-13 AUD an hour.
Another boomer I know throws out about 100kg of bird seed into her garden and driveway every week to feed wild birds, costing about $150 give or take.
Another boomer, has spent some $30,000 on model trains in addition to keeping aviaries of finches and a collection of cars. His views on the state of the nation are, "Well, at least I'll be dead by then, so it's not gonna bother me."
Feel like I could recite a hundred of these. I mean my mum runs her own business solely so she can go on a holiday every three months (my dad's business pays their bills). I am 34 and will file for bankruptcy this week (I have no saleable assets, and very little possessions).
