so you probably wondering what happend let me explain it to you >he was a tank in pvp so unkillable to begin with >then he has a passiv effect that deals dmg (the black beam) based on his total hp >since hes a tank he has a lot of hp >double lucky proc and one shots
I don't see anything wrong with this. The game's about getting the best gear in the game and then shitting on scrubs who don't have it. Anyone can get what he has and do what he did if they're perservant and lucky enough. What, you want arena to be e-sport? Wrong game for that. MMOs are about social fun, not skill. If he figured out what to do to acheive that effect he deserves the win. gg ez cry more go agane

This. WoW PVP was at its best when it was just compilation videos of geared players 1-shotting everything.
Tyler Cooper
>PvP in a PvE game Granted, the balance does sound outrageously bad.
Henry Bell
This. Creed and Vurtne are peak pvp kino.
Connor Robinson
mmos are trash then because they're just cookie-clicker with complex skins on top
Angel Hernandez
The sad part is Blizz push it like an eSport themselves, so that's not even on the retards who stick with the game.
Asher Diaz
>boomkin pvp in BC best shit to watch i dont see a problem in your video
Also timeless isle with all those retarded buffs and censer, oneshotting people at choke points.
Arenas were a mistake. Not arenas themselves, but the idea of "balance for sake of e-sports". It always boils down to some retarded meta combo while some specs are completely useless.
everyone look at this and understand why the game died
John Allen
people were doing arena tournaments long before blizzard cared about esports
Logan Phillips
sounds like windfury procs and those days were the best. Maybe I should resub and play a DH
Jace Walker
I don't get it? What's the issue? WoW has never been very balanced when it comes to PvP and I guess people who has jumped on the blizz hate wagon now knows this non-secret fact since vanilla.
Hudson Harris
There is nothing wrong with it. I saw a video when prot pal deal like 400k damage in one strike, but it was because he actually was smart and creative enough to guess how to do it in the first place. Of course he was also lucky enough to have a propper gear but he also worked hard to get everything. And still how many tanks you see in arena or bg? You just want a balance that make this game non-RPG but something like session match game where everyone just have some abilities on CD and that's all.
Asher Morales
>You just want a balance that make this game non-RPG He doesn't want balance. He wants to shitpost, since shitting on blizzard is the new fun thing.
Aiden Nguyen
Seems very much different to me. Even if you were running PvE gear against someone in blues and could in fact kill them with starfire stun RNG combo, that requires setup and timing (finishing starfire as cyclone ends) as opposed to killing enemies out of the blue, it has plausible counterplay options, and requires significant gear mismatch.
In general, I don't think even very lopsided matchups in vanilla/TBC feel that bad. For example, in TBC playing warrior against good rogue feels hopeless but at least you could wreck them if they slipped up on deadzone kiting, and warrior vs mage is 10-90 sort of matchup but it feels CLOSE in the sense that mage will be close to running out of mana by the time your run out of health so it feels like you had a chance. It's Wrath where these sort of things start annoying me, because unlike vanilla/TBC, it makes some efforts at balance but fails miserably anyway (it's easier to forgive a game that doesn't try to be an e-sport), because gear scaling is such that low gear vs high gear means you won't make a dent against a guy that 1-shots you (while in vanilla/TBC you could control and kill Naxx/SWP-geared guys and conversely, high-end PvP gear in TBC doesn't have such overwhelming offensive power), and because everyone has cooldowns up the ass, the alpha strike advantage of getting a jump on someone is even greater and the chance of a satisfying chance encounter is reduced from low to effectively zero.

>NOOOOOOOOOOO I SHOULD BE ABLE TO JUST SPAM HEAL FOR 30 MINUTES WHILE THE ENEMY HAS TO HIT EVERY SINGLE ABILITY ON HIS CHARACTER TO EVEN MOVE MY HP BAR!!! fucking faggot
You can you complain about someone being so incompetent but you are infinitely more incompetent.
Gavin Lopez
fpbp op btfo
Angel Green
>skreee fuck this company >*plays their game some more* Activlizzardcucks. Truly the shittiest form of existence.
Parker James
the latest patch introduced a feature called corruption items can roll with random new spells those spells can either be absolutely fucking broken or useless dude got oneshot by one of the broken spells, which was RNG activated and procced TWICE in a fucking row tl;dr bfa is shit retail is a dumpster fire play classic
Andrew James
I know what happened. Why would I trade one one-shot game to a soon to become another one-shot game?
Nicholas Hall
>random effects on random gear Oh yeah that sounds like fun. Who thought that was a fucking good idea?
Liam Ortiz
Co-op cookie clicker would unironically be pretty cool.
Wyatt Bennett
True. Arenatards ruined WoW. >NOOOOOO YOU CANT USE TRINKETS FROM VANILLA IN TBC ARENAAAAAA >HECKIN' NERF NERF NERF BLIZZ PLZ
Mason Anderson
Pvp went to shit the moment they removed pvp gearing.
Julian Howard
This so much. You want arenas then just let peopel queue into 3v3 or 5v5 solo, so it's all randoms and no premade meta groups. Then just let them deathmatch. No pillars, no enviromental shit. Just fucking beat the shit out of each other. Let BGs have pve objectives for something different and done.
Blake Long
Timeless Isle was peak wow. I haven't been subbed in a long time (quit early in Legion), but I remember Timeless Isle being fun as fuck. World pvp was actually meaningful because there were limited resources on the island that everyone wanted and had to fight over. Wow zones are usually too big for meaningful pvp, but they nailed it with that patch..
never got my thundering onyx cloud serpent though :/
>classic 2min mages and 100-1 stun lock. Paladins having 3 lives. Druids that run and kite and heal forever. >which was RNG activated and procced TWICE in a fucking row ya classic has that. It's called Seal of Casino for paladins or windfury for shamans. Classic pvp was and still is shit. MMORPG pvp has always and will always be unbalanced shit.
Julian Smith
This. I'm in a group chat with some old friends I used to play vanilla with back in the day, and we all wanted to gather up and play Classic together. I dropped that shit after two weeks because it's just not fun anymore. With the community being pretty bad in comparison, me not being 12 anymore and with Blizzard fucking it up with layering and other abusable bugs, it just sucks. My friends still play and complain about all of these things constantly, along with other complaints about how Blizzard is handling the game, yet they keep paying out month after month.
Ryan Moore
Uhh, wtf? Is that real?
Anthony Martin
And? It is not meant to be competitive. Play real pvp games if you want that. Fuck off.
