Only released in Japan as Europe. Shame as well, it’s was great

is it actually a horror game ?

Rain

More child-like horror, it’s scarier and darker than similar games like luigi’s mansion ad it gave me nightmares as a kid. But it’s not really what I would call scary nowadays. But technically yeah it’s a horror game

interesting, i bought the theme long time ago

I'm struggling to think of ones since all the ones I think of seem too well known now. The Thing game was pretty rad?

old nicktoon licensed games like battle for tiki island, glob of doom or attack of the toybots

Disney games too had SOUL

>way of the samurai 1-4 (moderately well known but i never see them mentioned here even though they are incredible, it's a real shame)
>.hack games (second series on pc too, good stuff)
>baldurs gate dark alliance
>champions of norrath (BG and this great hack n slay titles)
>blood will tell (incredibly cool action adventure thingy where you reclaim your stolen organs and body parts from demons)
>colosseum road to freedom (action game with intricate fighting system where you play as a slave trying to become free, has some story too suprisingly)

I'd urge everyone to try most of these, can't say I've seen anyone but myself mention any of these aside from Baldurs Gate and .hack so I would assume they're not that well known

I played epic mickey when I saw the commercial on the disney channel and I thought "wow, this is shit. Im gonna go play battle for bikini bottom"

Splatterhouse for PS3 is the most fun 5-6/10 game ive ever played

Smuggler's Run 2 is pretty great, has no PC port.

The Adventure of Cookie and Cream
Kinetica
Gitaroo Man
Chulip
Metropolismania
Disaster Report
Raw Danger
Tokyo Jungle
Quantum Conundrum

Nu-disney games are bad i agree with you, im talking about the ps2 era

WotS 1-3 are great, some of the best games I played.

You missed Silent Bomber on PS1 you freak, it's like if Bomberman was actually fleshed out into a modern game. Also Xenosaga on PS2.

Michigan Report from Hell
>Oh my Goooooooood!!!!!
>You monsteeer!!!
Brisco was such a treat

Have you tried 4? I don't entirely like the ever growing shift towards more modern settings but it's suprisingly great still, and it is probably the most plot-diverse of the bunch

Never Dead
Enslaved Odyssey to the West
Deadly Premonition
Majin and the Forsaken Kingdom
The Saboteur
Binary Domain
Murdered: Soul Suspect
El Shaddai: Ascension of the Metatron

when will "le hidden gems" end

Couldn't be assed to buy a ps3 to play it and now that it's out on PC I just don't care enough to get it.
I'm sure one day I'll get to play it though.
I'm still mad that killed that IP to make their Akiba's trip shovelware.

folklore

they have ended with this gen of gaming.
It's all either low effort indie trash or dev hell AAA movies

Well make sure you do, I doubt we'll see anything similar anytime soon

Scarface on PS2 was a blast, and it doesn't emulate well at all.

>open world 1980s Miami
>customisable mansion
>buy and sell cocaine
>can use drivers, assassins, etc from your cartel to cruise around, do missions for you, etc
>take over gang territories, buy businesses, etc
>pretty good Pacino impression
>gory for the time
>dat soundtrack

You should get a cheap used one, install custom firmware then play whatever you want because the system already comes with a very good bugless ps2, psp, ps1 emulator

>I doubt we'll see anything similar anytime soon
I'm also mad that they're reviving the IP to turn it into a rogue lite but at least it looks like it'll play the same

Looks interesting, luckily i got the ps3 so no worries

Just saw that after you mentioned it, looks pretty bad. Why did they think adding random monsters was a good idea? Wasn't this series supposed to be at least somewhat historically acurate?
Here's hoping it's just a smaller title while they actually make 5, I don't see why they wouldn't, 4 did real well, no? Being ported to PC and all
