AMD for now. Bulldozer was talked about for years but flopped. It was "Zen" (Ryzen) that delivered. Intel's gonna have to play catch up but it's definitely possible to beat AMD.

Intel still puts out the vast majority of transistors zoom zoom, AMD's ability to expand is inherently limited.

Just bought an Intel last year. Will buy another Intel in 5 or 6. I couldn't tell you the first thing about AMD chips other than the word ryzen, and I'm not even sure how to pronounce it.

Basically Intel has committed the blunder of the century. Trying to rush a new generation and chipset to market, where the performance gains aren't even remotely worth the headaches it brings

I wont be getting a new mobo for at least 6 years so who knows, I just built mine with an r5 2600, might upgrade to a 4th series ryzen but ill probably upgrade my gpu first, have a 1660super but if a 3060ti can do 4k60fps for $500 or less ill get one.
