Why did SR3 need a remaster? Why not fix the unplayable SR2 port or re-release SR1? They could have just ported SR3 to PS4 and XB1 as it was. The graphics look better in the original since they went for an action figure aesthetic. It worked and was recognizable. Now it just looks generic.

They're fixing SR2 for PC now that they found the source code but it's literally just 2 guys working on it. SR1 might be impossible to remaster because apparently they don't have the original Xbox 360 source code anymore.

Most pointless remaster I've seen since Metro 2033 and Last Light. Why not just port the PC version to PS4 and XBone with the settings cranked to max and give it 4K 60fps? It'd look better than the PS3/360 versions and be even easier to do, without perverting the graphical aesthetic.
