i did a chargeback scam for this game from some retro game seller on ebay back in 2012 and I played it until I got to the flipside area and I didn't enjoy any of it
why do people like this game so much, is it something Japanese I don't understand? It's based on American/Western shit but none of it was appealing

I don't think he'd actually make Deltarune exclusive, but something similar to that Switch-exclusive boss in Undertale makes sense, as well as maybe some Amiibo.

I could him collaborating on another project with Nintendo that is definitely exclusive though. Until Deltarune is mostly done though, I would assume that he'll just be asked to do some OSTs for them here and there.
