Probably more like a B+, but a B+ in that one subject you always struggled with so you're still really proud of the grade and actually care more about it than that A in PE or whatever

The start is good though it throws you into cassadis which you can explore at your leisure and the path to the encampment provides a nice tutorial until your first big encounter and then you make the journey to gran soren and the game opens up. You can take this whole section as short, an hour or two to upto 15 hours if you do a bunch of questing and exploring, It does a good job not bombarding you with too many tasks at the start which is good considering how many missables there are in the game

I've done that section so many times I've got the optimal ox strats
Bring a mage pawn that knows Anodyne but not Halidom, grab a couple poison mushrooms from the tunnel and alternate between kicking the ox until it's almost dead then standing in front of it while poisoned so the mage casts Anodyne for it to walk through, because it doesn't have unrecoverable health so they can heal it back to full no matter what and you can keep kicking it the whole way

the gear and weapons you get from the temple and grigori are more than sufficient to run the place. You can skip any tough encounters in most bbi rooms and just loot chests for good gear, all the mandatory fights in bbi are piss easy anyway

There's a kick interact that does, yes. But it damages it heavily.
Way around that is that if you stand in front of it, you get run over, making the lolihealer start casting. Then just get close to the the ox so the spell also heals it.

I love the game, but no one can argue in good faith that it isn't heavily flawed in several areas and could be a lot better.

Witcher obviously wins on story and presentation, but combat in Dragon's Dogma is 1000x better.
