Why didn't you buy me?

Why didn't you buy me?

You killed the M&L series by not doing that.

I had the original and didn't think it was necessary.

Not only did I own the original, I could play it on the same system that the remake came out on.

The art update looked like shit IMO, and I had the orginal.

Who at Nintendo allowed them to try and put a game out on a dead system?

Because I already played the original and it wasn't good enough to warrant me getting a second time.

This is why.

Maybe you shouldn’t have been a full-priced remake on a dead system that could already play the original

It's so much uglier. Why did they ruin the old art style?

Because you ruined bowser.

If he did just one more damage the left would've ended before the right side even began.

Pit needed the remake far more than this did.

But I did? I really enjoyed it too. Arguably better than the original.

Bowser is better as well in some special attacks. The one where he calls his mages to flank the foe with magic he actually buffs their magic with his in the original. In the remake he just buffs their magic with his fire breath, boring!

>release a remake nobody asked for on a dead system while the original is still playable on the same system and the previous remake sold like shit
whoever came up with this idea (nintendo or someone at alphadream) clearly wanted the company dead

why is it even in 3D when it only plays in 2D

They released the game on the same day as Kingdom Hearts 3 in some countries. It's like they wanted the game to fail.

That being said I did enjoy the Bowser Jr side story.

It wasn't necessary. Superstar Saga got away with it because you couldn't play it on the 3DS. BIS remake could have been a brand new M&L game instead.

Then again, Dream Team sucked and a new M&L could have sucked too.

Dream Team only sucked because of giant battles (really fuck BIS for starting these dumb things) and the fact that they forced tutorials on you all the way to the game's final fucking dungeon...

Behind it all it was a good game IMO

Stating this fact again.

I only have nostalgia for SuperStar Saga.

well it is the best one

I bought every M&L on the 3DS, user. It's not my fault that nobody else gave a fuck about a remake of a game you could already play on a console that nobody gave a fuck about in 2019.

Nigga you were a downgrade. Kinda like Luigi's Mansion 3DS

Nintendo wants to bury the idea that Bowser was ever a Sorcerer King and wants him to strictly be a brute.

I don't like how you have to play a tedious minigame to do anything in an M&L game, from interacting with the maps to special attacks. Partners in Time was the worst about this from the ones I played, because you had four playable characters simultaneously.

Because I played the original multiple times and this seemed like a downgrade. The art style is certainly much worse.

>Alphadream really thought Nintendo was going to put out 240p handhelds forever and put all of that work into making sprites at that quality
At least Gamefreak attempted to futureproof by making pokemon models that were too good for 3DS and made their games run like shit.

>mushrooms and pipes in the original are because he just inhaled the whole peach castle
>nowhere to seen in the remake

>Add a Navi expy for no reason
>Shoehorn in more and more minigames
>Make super movies tedious to execute
>Cross over with another RPG series that was losing its identity
>Remake the two best games and somehow make then worse with unnecessary side stories and synergized visuals
>Release those remakes on hardware nobody gives a shit about anymore and that can already play one of the original games
The writing's on the wall: You killed yourself. This was obviously the final nail in the coffin.

>models that were too good for 3DS
LMAO
