When does it get good?

I played 100h of RE2 because it was great, but only played through the RE3 campaign a single time on hardcore. Just not at all fun, most of the game is on rails and there are maybe 5 minutes tops of interesting gameplay where nemesis is chasing you through the city.

When it starts. Then it gets shit after the sewer.

As someone else who loved RE2 and got the platinum you will be disappointed by RE3. It's simply too short, especially considering you probably paid full price for it like I did. A single playthrough is six hours, assuming you go for the plat that's maybe twenty hours. Twenty hours for a full priced game is not worth it IMO.

I thought the same thing. Played the fuck out of RE2 Remake and even got S+ on hardcore with Claire. (I suck) I played through RE3 Remake once and started a new save and stopped caring and uninstalled.

Not only is the combat better, not only does the game last longer, not only does it have more replayability, it's simply the better game.
Some heart breaking elements like Nemesis being nerfed into the fucking dirt do suck, but don't pretend for 5 seconds RE3 was revered among the fans, you're outing yourself as new if you're going to die on this hill.
