Kind of, but a lot weaker and less natural to use. From what I gather it's basically forcing someone elses combat experience into your body allowing you to fight as well as they would and as if you were wearing their equipment.

Not even close, the fixers we see have equipment that probably isn't far off from modern stuff like kevlar at best. Compared to even a Zayin ego is powered by literal soul magic and so intuitive to use that someone who's never fought in their life can be skilled as long as they are compatible.
The rank 5+ fixers and urban plague+ tier syndicates probably have the more advanced tech and bodymods that approaches weak EGO, but we haven't encountered those yet.

Makes sense since if you have someone decked out in NT gear, I can see you easily bulldozing through people by the dozens.

Should I complete ordeals of midnight or stop before them? I've been able to handle dusk ordeals just fine but the one midnight ordeal I've dealt with seemed like more of a punishment than a challenge (the laser).

Worth noting that if we go by the ending of the trailer they are aware of the library and what it could represent, which is the opposite of what they want.

You're gonna have to do them eventually, might as well learn how to deal with them now.

Midnight ordeals are pretty tough, I'd recommend holding off until the missions/core suppressions force you into them.

Amber and Green midnights are doable relatively easily with the right amount of gigachads, but you probably want to never try violet if you're asking this.

Going off of what you said the only exception I think may exist would be if a corp or the head themselves are hiding special equipment that could match LC E.G.O.S and even then they may not have the quantity of equipment to match LC stash if they had max everything.

I'd assume only equipment made from other singularities are capable of matching EGOs.

There's plenty of tech that approaches magic, so I'm sure the high-rankers have stuff on par with EGO and the peak of the setting probably put a gigachad to shame, not to mention basically each wing having it's own military using it's own technology. But yeah half the thing with EGO is it needs no training so it's great for both quantity and quality.

Okay... So... Why don't the librarians use the EGO they've stockpiled in LC to fight the Fixers in Ruina?

Mostly equivalent or stronger, assuming the strongest Grade 1 or color fixers are considered WAW level threats and arbiters are ALEPH threats requiring several gigachad agents to supress. That said only Geburah has been able to use Ego equipment to their full potential.

So I jumped on the train super late and only just installed lobotomy Corp last night. 3 hours disappeared in the span of what felt like five minutes. I...haven't had this much fun playing a game in ages.
I do have one question though: how should I be spending my LOB? I'm about to expand into my second facility so I'm still super early.
