Maybe their text is misleading, but I mean something like Skyrim in terms of scale and freedom (Of course, with actual fucking DEPTH to its world rather than just a giant shitty sandbox, as well as level design on par with the dark souls 1/3 for at least interiors). If it's really just "lol a few big areas xD" then it's automatically trash and the one promised feature is a flop, therefore the game is a flop to me

Skill system seems very unlikely. Souls games were never about power fantasies. Even Sekiro's combat skills weren't about PF. Hope to be wronged tough. Also since this "leaks" are hugely backed up from Omnipotent's "leaks" I can say I don't believe it lol.

I have to admit I've never poisecrutched through any content in any of the games, but it would make no sense to do a slow build if one couldn't unless there was some other kind of benefit. Otherwise it would just be like DS3 where you may as well just stick with fast roll because it's better than the others and you can still do everything you could with a heavy armor build. I like build variety ok I don't give a shit about cheesing the game.

you're kidding, right? ds3 was the one where you were MOST incentivized to not do a fast roll build. They're virtually the same except fast rolling is a tiny bit faster and goes further. Ds3 HEAVILY encouraged going 69.9% equip load and min/maxing armor values, nothing else

Ah okay I forgot there wasn't a real med-roll in ds3. Still though, there is no incentive to go beyond that point in DS3 since fatrolling is just a handicap. At least in DS1 you could poise through almost anything in PvE if you wanted to just for goofs or to cheese some boss. There's no purpose to go for a heavy armor build in DS3 is what I'm getting at.
